Plain bread works fine no need for all the waste maybe a little something else for scent would help but I just don't see wasting money when bread is cheap

@@ETH85 this bait is money, by far the best carp bait in my area (north central Indiana) works every time. Been using this recipe for years only difference between his and mine are strawberry instead of cherry.
