Ironically, I took over Blackburn in 2024/25, first thing I had to deal with was Adam Wharton being sold low to West Ham, I want to say only around 17 mil? Took that 17 mil and held it for next season since we had a miracle run to promotion to the Premier League, used the funds to get Archie Gray for about 35 mil, and Archie has started almost every game for me since. On a separate note, Halseth Nypan rejected us for Man United when I went for him before Archie, and this summer in the save (2028/29) he moved to Inter for 190 million pounds.

If anybody is on a small team save, one great youngster to suggest would be theo, 21 years old on real madrid. Very budget friendly i got him for 350k with installments and has amazing set piece qualities. his preferred role is AMC support but can use him for CM also, i use him as a starter and got into the prem with blackburn.

I signed Thuram for my Liverpool save and he ended up as captain. Paired him with Oscar Gloukh who’s a young goal scoring advanced playmaker or attacking midfielder for a great combo

Thanks for sharing, but take a look at Matteo Prati from Cagliari and Edoardo Bovo. Really love to sign both all day long. Bovo I bought in so many saves so versatile in a VM diamond midfield. And with a great personality so can start as starter and later when you get better players has no problem to sit on the bench. For Matteo Prati those mental get so nice and high and becomes an assist king on a CM support role.

Veloso was a class LW for me at Liverpool on FM22 although Ouedraogo was slightly more underwhelming that year, being more of a rotation winger (although I did deploy him at DM despite him not being able to play the position yet!). Baturina was such a servant for me at Brighton on FM23 as well
