Now, as a player, I want to give my opinion about the moveset: -Good side: 0. fast and big range(the sword give more range) m1 1.Quick slice: big range, give you the opportunity to dash behind your opponent and start a combo, do dmg when ragdoll, sometime surprise your opponent and have a really cool tech called "triple dash", still have the chance to hit even when your opponent block(where you face them when blocking) 2.Atmos Cleave: has a wide range in front of you, hits ragdoll 3.Pinpoint cut: hits ragdoll, can be used to start a combo or being a combo extender, air variant is not that bad, it can be used to surprise your enemies, have the chance to become a combo starter or do cheap dmg 4. Split second counter: we won't talk about this, cuz your video already show that *Ultimate: except for the third move, he has a pretty solid ultimate -Bad side: 0.fast m1 SOMETIMES make you miss the downslam 1. Quick slice: for a "quick" one, this move is so easy to react, if you have high ping, the 3 m1 into 1 will be untrue since they can just block or counter, it have a small endlag at the end so it's still punishable 2.Atmos Cleave: this move is surprisingly hard to punish but you can still do it by ragdoll cancel behind them when they use it(when you get downslamed) or foward dash as fast as you could to catch them when they still at reach 3.Pinpoint cut: buggy move that just slap you hard if it happens; air variant still punishable if you miss 4. Split second counter: like the other counter- miss = punishable *Ultimate (no death counter in clude): 1. if you use saitama and quite far from him, you can just run away or use your 1 to cancel the move 2. YOU MISSED IT ? HOW THE F ? 3. can be missed and punish back 4. You can't actually punish after this move Tbh , atomic samurai is not a bad character, but to truly master it, you have to have good aim and an aggressive playstyle , which some of the other character, is more easy to deal dmg and start combo than him

@@t11eman Well, I actually don't really sure about this, so maybe u are right, but in my experience, the sword still sometimes have the "foward dash bug" - break block when they foward dash with sword or bat- so I think even when they stated that every m1 are the same, the sword can still make the m1 buggy and make more range for it (this is just my opinion) or I think it's one of the character passive like genos have the extend range on the last m1

As a fellow Atomic samurai main I use him for a few reasons aswell the reasons being: 1 the base moveset is filled with MOTIVATION 2 the ult is basically op and fun to use 3 its the ultimate counter to genos 3 of genos moves can be easily countered and in ult atomic slash is a counter to incinerate cuz it can bypass s and the opponent is stuck in place 4 it has cool finishers

I’m going to talk about the good and bad part about each character (if you don’t want a yap session then don’t read) Saitama (the strongest hero)- Good: -different variations of one-shot combos -good techs that combo extend -REALLY overpowered ultimate -pretty easy to use Bad: -he doesn’t really have any long ranged moves which make him bad with runners -if your movement isn’t good you can’t land combos -no variants (I’m a Saitama main so I hope this is accurate) ---------------------------------------------------------- Garou (hero hunter)- Good: -easy combos -a lot of techs that combo extend -decent ultimate that can do a lot of damage if used correctly -a variety of combos Bad: -just like saitama he has no long ranged moves which makes him bad with runners -combos don’t really have a good damage output unless you use a really advanced combo -no variants either (Garou is almost like saitama but less damage output and more combo potential) ---------------------------------------------------------- Genos (destructive cyborg)- Good: -Long ranged moves which make it good for runners -good combo potential -good techs -good damage output Bad: -ultimate is easily counterable -his base moves are also easily counterable -no variants either -has a bad reputation because of spammers and runners (I don’t really play Genos so this might not be accurate) ---------------------------------------------------------- Sonic (deadly ninja)- Good: -the 3 move is really good for combo extenders -1 variant -pretty good damage output -best ult in the game (not including saitama’s ult) Bad: -a lot of his moves are blockable -moves are countered easily -also has a bad reputation because of spammers and runners (I don’t use sonic that much either so yeah) ---------------------------------------------------------- Metal bat (brutal demon)- Good: -probably the 2nd best ult (NOT INCLUDING SAITAMA) -good combo potential -good techs -his passive is good (his passive is gaining ultimate as he gets damaged) Bad: -you can cancel ultimate moves if used carelessly -many of his moves are predictable if used carelessly -m1’s are slower then most (Metal bat is decent, not my main but use him more then Genos and sonic) ---------------------------------------------------------- Atomic samurai (blade master)- Good: -pretty good ultimate -good combo potential -really good counter move -a pretty good variant to combo extend Bad: - A lot of his moves are counterable -combo potential isn’t that high (not saying he has no combo potential) (That’s honestly all for the bad parts, pretty good character) ---------------------------------------------------------- Tatsumaki (wild psychic)- Good: -long ranged moves -easy combos -probably the 3rd best ult (not including saitama) Bad: -3 of her moves are blockable and the one that isn’t can be countered and hard to hit -bad reputation for running and spamming -ultimate moves are kind of hard to land if used recklessly (Pretty good character overall) ---------------------------------------------------------- Suriyu (martial artist)- Good: -Base moveset is good -good combo potential -ultimate isn’t finished and still pretty good (if used correctly) Bad: -ultimate is mid if you don’t use it correctly -2nd base move is hard to land -ultimate isn’t finished (Decent character so far) ---------------------------------------------------------- And that’s all! If you read all of this then you have a pretty good attention span. This took me like 30 minutes to type lol. If there were grammar mistakes then sry but I’m not reading my entire text back! ⚠DISCLAIMER⚠ Just because these characters have a lot of flaws, doesn’t mean it’s a bad character, and if you have a different opinion, be free to type it in the comments, I’m free to argue :)

freestyle characters are better than comboist as freestyle characters are flexible you can use them in anyway and there is no need for a combo whereas comboist needs to combos and if the player ur fighting against knows a counter to your combo then your cooked whereas it will be easy for a freestyler to save him from that type for situation

As a Blade Master/Atomic Samurai main, I absulotely approve of this video. What makes this moveset good is that anyone can use it and they mostly can win in a fight. As a Atomic Samurai main, I agree that this video is great for new players to learn this character, although with a simple issue, not really using the Atmos Cleave hight to your advantage, you could use the Air variant of pin point cut for a hella far drop, and making your enemies confused, you can do the same with Quick Slice and catch them off guard, then do a combo. Thats all

You use quick slice to combo extend very weak wrongly. Look back into the opponent after 3 M1s making how you move backwards so you move along with the opponent.

I main atomic, I recommend using aerial variant of pinpoint cut as a switch up combo starter. Trust me, no one expects it and it’s unblockable. If they don’t block it you get a free m1 combo, and then you use quick slice to reset your m1s and keep going. Plus pinpoint cuts cd is rlly fast

the problem is with pinpoint and atmos cleave is if someone has evasive they can get out of the move AFTER it's already hit. They just sidedash out, which is very bad and makes combos hard to rely on. (edit:) they are actually one of the characters i play more tho

Pin point cut air variant is op, it like makes you disapear then appear, do 10 hp, it also stuns if they aren’t blocking or rag dolled, if they are they get flung back, it’s not very bad, I use it more than the normal variant

I thought atomic was bad until I experienced someone using the full potential of atomic and this character can be really good if used well. This character has a high, maybe the highest skill ceiling of all the characters due to his moves being difficult to utilize but when done correctly, can outperform other characters. Although quick slice can be easily punished when used without stunning your opponent it is great for combos as you can use 3m1s then the move and m1 extend off it. If you do it correctly it is true without even needing to side dash back onto your opponent. It can sometimes catch your opponent off gaurd when you use the move raw but it is pretty risky. Atmos cleave is best used at the end of your combo (if they have evasive) or just anywhere in the combo (if they don't have evasive). You can deal a bit of damage to them before they can ragdoll cancel out of the move since the first part of atmos cleave is true. They won't be able to punish you with their evasive because they can only ragdoll cancel when you're already in the air. You can sometimes use atmos cleave to break blocks and start a combo/waste their evasive. Pinpoint cut can be used in many different ways. You can use the air variant to start a combo as it is hard to punish and you'll be able to use your other 2 attacking moves before they can ragdoll out of it (Air variant, 3m1s, quick slice, 3m1 then atmos cleave). If they block the move they will roll back and take some damage and you can always bait the counter. Never use the normal variant of pinpoint cut when they have their evasive because they can easily punish you. Same thing with using the normal variant raw they can just avoid if then dash onto you. You should only use the normal variant in a combo when they don't have their evasive. When they do have their evasive use the air variant for a true combo. Atomic can do an around 70% true combo by doing the attacks in the following order: 3m1s, quick slice, 3m1s, side dash into air variant, 3m1s then atmos cleave). Note that the first 2 moves will be hard to execute. You can start another true combo by using Atomic Samurai's forth move split-second counter and it's a lot better than Garou's counter move. Not much else to say about the move. Atomic samurai's passive is very mediocore though. His front dashes and m1s are a bit slower than Saitama's or Garou's as well so keep that in mind. It may take a while to master Atomic Samurai for intermediate players and most players due to his high skill flooring but good for you if you can master it.

The aerial pinpoint cut is not trash or useless. Most casual players don't expect it and you can combo it off of a upper cut side dash or quick slice. And also it has the 2nd coolest finisher of the moveset so style points if you use it.

Atomic samurai base is balanced enough compared to the rest of the characters. Very punishable but is good enough to cook. Some moves are op like 1 and 4 (counter has NO cooldown almost) Ult? The buff that nobody asked for a move that does 60 dmg and recharges like 4 times during ult. Like fr how hard is it to m1 when you have 2 other moves with huge range and can travel the entire ranked map in a second. I easily was able to land my 1ult since it was easy to catch them even if they were runners. Now? ITS JUST "gg ez" literally. A move that does 60 dmg is the lowest cooldown in his ult and has huge range??? Nice. The add them 2 other moves which do 20% and i think 40% (and the 20% one is just a way to get you into his other 2 moves). You will die, no matter what.

You meant,3 BLOCKABLE moves, one range grab move which is predictable and easily punishable,only one aerial move which just sucks as it is the worst move of the moveset and the passive isn't as good as it was at release since you can no longer combo from it,also,two out of four moves need the opponent to be ragdolled, crushing pull will never land ir you're not ragdolled and windstorm fury is easily punishable,all of her moves have long startups,the worst cooldowns and honestly,you can very easily run from her ultimate,this character is the worst comboist of the game and is the most nerfed character of the history of the game,also she has the worst total damage of the game and the hardest 100% combo to land,her longest unescapable combo only does 26, you're just traumatized by the old Tatsumaki

im pretty sure 3 m1 into move 1 is not true and can be you can be countered by garou’s counter move 2 does like 3% if you ragdoll out of it move 3 is a free punish if you ragdoll and side dash out and move 4 is pretty good gives you a combo but thats pretty much the only saving grace… i still think atomic samurai is the worst character to play and even your defenses against punishable moves are questionable to me at least…

The only thing why atomic is better then saitama is double evasive (u cant double evasive on atomic akills) on rank 140+ (im playing on this rank) so saitama becames unplayble when everyone uses double evasive they need to fix it NOW

When u have 5-10k kills and u opponents have same kills and exp in game -> atomic is good. But when u be pro and play vs pros, samurai was be weak and easy to counter ALL moves of this character and all unexpected for a pros samurai become very predictable and even ridiculous and the samurai is very VERY VULNERABLE to counter moves. Top players dont use him in 1v1ing, op is garou, saitama, genos, sonic and maybe suiryu
