@FiveFoldYoutube Жыл бұрын
@@ace3998 You would think it’s hard to find parts for but as it has the same engine as the 350z it’s quite easy. As Infiniti at a point took over production it is quite easy to order parts from the states. Only thing I could see you having a tiny bit of trouble with body parts but Australia has a decent amount of parts laying around and 350z parts work in terms of engine and exhaust but America has a lot on offer. The GPS in not able to be updated, so your maps will be 15 years out of date. PRICE: i didn't look up the exchange rate BUT... I paid only $7800 USD last year for a low mileage G coupe... only 80,000 miles. Inflation is driving things up... but I have been UNABLE to sell the car this year for $10k and so I will happily keep it for another year. It is a pure driver's car, the RWD gives a feel that NO HONDA can give and adequate power make this the most fun you can legally have for under $8000.

Hi Ross. I’ve recently became a fan of your channel. Thanks for the reviews. I’ve been a fan of the Nissan 350/370z since the days of need for speed underground. The V series skyline might be the next best thing. It’s incredible value as an import and as you mentioned it’s very similar to the Z series mechanically, especially the v36 with the 245kw 370z engine and the increased luxury that comes with the V series skyline. I believe australia never got the skyline v series as the S15 series was nearing a conclusion, and the 350z was the first performance Z since the 260z ( the 300zx twin turbo was never officially sold here) I’ve been looking at the price of Zs over the past couple of years, it’s going up as most of the Z drivers are older, collectors and not boy racers. Hopefully 1 day I can find a good Z. The issue with the V series skyline as an import is the increased insurance and the issue with the automatic transmissions…there’s difficulty in servicing them in Australia I believe. Have you reviewed the 370z? Fir around $30k, it’s quite an affordable hard core 245kw rwd non turbo sport car…that will one day be a collectible.

The best way to get these a faster 0-60 is to buy an x trim with awd and buy some serious grippy tires like Michelin cross climate 2s. The awd makes traction much better on a launch and with the grippy tires you stick it almost every time. HOLD UP! on the V35, when you break, both tail lights light up? or did i hear that wrong? on the G35 when you break, only one circle light up and the other corner circle is just the turn signal.
@zaamuro84082 жыл бұрын
They never sold them in Australia because the Infiniti brand didn't exist (until end of cycle of v36 for a very short period of time) and that they were too expensive. V36 failed as it was already an old car by then and couldn't compete with customers wanting a german badge instead.

Do you think it would be smart to buy 10 and preserve them? Will they ever have a following like the older JDM?

I don’t think they will be as desirable as the 32,33,34 skylines showed unfortunately.

for a nice low km V35.. they can cost as much as 20k now.. but between 10-15 would be fair.. 370Z will be 20-30k

As a fan of both the 350z and a massive fan of the skyline. I will say this isn’t a skyline it’s a luxury 350z with quad tails. But yeah

@@user-up3vx2hk1qThe G35 is marketed as the "Nissan Skyline V35" in Japan, while the G35 is marketed as the "Infiniti G35" in America. So therefore it IS a skyline. Do some fucking research because a skyline doesn't have to be an r32-33-34, Hakosukas and Kenmeris exist.
