Kevin, you had recommended this brand in a different video. It wasn't available for me at the time however I found its brother. Not an inexpensive servo but great value, put in my DHK Maximus. Thoroughly impressed. Kevin, because the centre diff in your xmaxx has “side and spider gears” you can hold the front wheels, and they will stop and the back wheels will still turn. Same principal as holding one wheel.... the spider and side gears do all the work

After watching your video (thank you sir!) I ordered and just got in the post the KS-3518 Servo. I am installing it in my 2wd-Rustler-XL5-12t that I upgraded with a Turnigy XK-3650 5400KV Inrunner (an insane HANDWOUND, Purple anodized, 4pole, 135amp max, neodymium rotor, 3s, brushless-sensorless motor) paired with a Sidewinder 4 ESC, Custom made sway bars, alloy turnbuckles+hubs+bellcrank, bell bearings, and an Integy 2-wheel Wheelie bar because the 1-wheel wheelie bar is just 😢 sad! Until i get my JX Ecoboost servo this one will be my upgrade to the slow stock servo that came with my Rustler. With the motor+ESC combo I'm using the stock servo isn't fast or powerful enough for my Rustler to get out of it's own way! 😂 Thanks again for the review and for all your videos!

Power HD servos have been great for me after going through 2 pairs in my erevo 2.0 I've never had anything wrong now this is my go to servo for all my vehicles

@@Saufiuddin so far so good! Haven’t had any issues. It responds well and no issues when it’s wet. I don’t run it through standing water but no issues when it’s gotten wet. I just make sure to clean my car off after running it

I like the powerhd servos. The 20kg ones are 227oz @ 6.6v n .16 sec for $20-$26 (thats for the waterproof ones). Im runnin 7.4v thru mine with no problems in my crawler, also runnin a single in my OG BL erevo.

For fast speed at budget price JX make the 6208MG. It's 8kg but the speed is 0.07sec @6v BEC. Ideal for drift cars touring cars or 2WD cars. For 4WD off r road you will want 15kg or higher to help your car centre and drive straight

I use power hd 25mg in all my trucks it's full aluminum outside metal geared waterproof inside 350 ozin and it's 40 bucks also you can run it up to 8.4v which gives you over 400ozin

I picked up a cheapo servo for my xo-1 when I was putting it back together I got it as a roller and I used that servo for a month or two and picked up a savox servo for it and it’s a day and night difference but it’s a totally different price point and the savox is so smoooooth but it sits in a car I don’t run all that much the cheapo eventually stripped the gear and was kinda loose but for 20$ I can’t complain

My plastic servo horn stripped after a few runs. Plus when you go to replace it. The stock servo horn is shorter than some aftermarket ones. I had to cut mine. At least that was my experience.

The traxxas servo is slower, it has some diffrence it's not difficult to see it and these miliseconds play serious role when you drive, it change the behave of the car when you have use to a slower servo.
