it’s cheesy but still wholesome, you can see how he tries so hard to be mario odyssey with the weird electric transport thing, the ties, the tiki costume, the sombrero, but he also is inspired by Smash (maybe Borderlands) with the little vignettes introducing the characters. The art and the fact it’s got a religious theme is too easy a target to make fun of, like other Christian games are usually soulless educational shite meant to sucker in soccer moms to give to their kids, where the development and end result is usually shovelware anyway. It’s fair criticism then, but in this you can tell Brandon tried his absolute hardest to make a game, this was the best he could do, and you can’t hate him for that. It’s got this Wakaliwood-style charm to it. The one upload with the trailer for this game that I think Brandon is in charge of is already getting some “SuperMega sent me” but so far none of them are malicious or they’re hiding some jab under irony. Honestly I wanna see more from this dude and I hope this exposure gives him inspiration over anxiety

Just a charming detail I noticed is that the protagonist's name is Sight becomes he alows things that people couldn't see before to come into vision, namely, the belief in God.
