If your kids like kinetic sad, you HAVE to try slime sand!!!! It's the best of both worlds with no mess. The kinetic sand separates like sand so it can get messy and slime, don't even get me started. But slime sand molds like kinetic sand but has the elasticity like slime. I, as a parent, am obsessed!

Slime makes me so nervous! We're a slime free house and I don't know if I can bring myself to get that (but I know my youngest would love it!)

How does it cause no mess? Just curious. This sounds like my nightmare! We love kinetic sand and have a big sandbox of it so it stays tidy.

@RaisingAtoZ it's not slime, that's the beauty of it. It has all the best parts of kinetic sand but stretches like slime. Doesn't stick to clothes and does separate like kinetic sand. We love kinetic sand but I feel like I am always sweeping or vacuuming half of it off the floor. This stuff sticks together mich better.

This would be a great gift idea! My kids have an audio book app on their ipad that they use and love, otherwise this would be perfect!

Thank you! I've been looking for Christmas ideas--I thought I was early! Oops. I'm all over those picasso tile add-ons--my kids will love them. They're also really into a new building tile: Fives Designs mosaic tiles for making big pixel art. Discovered them at our school's STEM night--they're super fun!

My main suggestions would be the Yoto Player, Magnatiles and Plus Plus! Got the Yoto Player as a birthday present and it’s been used so much ever since, and the magnatiles and Plus Plus are amazing for open ended play ❤ We also love jigsaw puzzles and the board game Dragon Wood. I hate toys that are a one and done thing if that makes sense? They usually don’t last very long and little ones have such vivid imaginations, a lot of the toys on the market are so limited nowadays.

The limited uses toys are the worst. My personal pet peeve are 1 and done toys like the magic mixies or hatchimals that were popular the last few years. Once they're opened and do the "cool thing" it can never be reset. That's the worst!
