The bag they found at the old homeless man's shack was lottery tickets! I believe that in the last scene in the hospital , they announced the jackpot number, a large amount of money! Another one of Kiyokos miracles. There will probably never be a sequel go this movie. The director, Satoshi Kon, died some times ago. His last project "Dream machine" never saw the light of day. If you enjoyed this animation, check out some of his other works! Tokyo Godfathers are by far his most wholesome movie, though. The rest are very good, but with some disturbing themes. I highly recommend "Paprika", which was the inspiration to Christipher Nolans "Inception"! The animation is WILD.

Ooooo I didn't know he passed away.. yes I've heard of paprika but I might definitely react to it since you put it that way LOL OOOOOO okay that's what they were got you dang it sucks we never see what he did with the winnings.
