It's pretty innovative for a top list to drop some item a few spots as the list is going. I've heard some people say during the list something along the lines of "If the thing didn't do this, then it would be much higher on the list," But to actively do it as the count is going is a lot more powerful at conveying this to the audience
@WhiteAsylumMind8 жыл бұрын
3:33 If it makes you feel better, my first reaction to #5 was "Oh cool! It's that song I hear at work during the holidays!" Among all the covers of _All I want for Christmas is You_ and _Last Christmas_, this version of _Sleigh Ride_ is much welcomed whenever I hear it. I really had no idea it was a cover song until you pointed it out. My whole mind is blown. I mean I've been hearing covers of _Sleigh Ride_ mixed in on that playlist too and I never knew this was another one. Now that's the sign of a good Christmas Cover song.

When it comes to the hawk in this Run DMC classic it has been referenced in later pop culture as well site the 90's T.V. show Martin. Where in the "Baby, It's Cole'd in Here" episode while trying to prepare a window for the incoming snow storm, Martin and his girlfriend Gina break said window and Martin exclaims "See what you did! You done let the hawk in!"

He only takes requests if you support his patreon. That being said, I agree with kitchen sink, though if we're doing TOP, I'd rather have him do Car Radio. Yeah it's more mainstream, but it actually feels like a rap song, while kitchen sink has a more alternative feel, and Tyler delivers the lyrics like a poem rather than a rap. There is Zach's verse, but I don't think it would hold up very well under the RC's criticisms.

Just for the record, the lack of Christmas in "Player's Ball" was intentional. Kast was asked to do the song for a compilation. The two of them grew up poor and never celebrated a real Christmas at that point, the Player's Ball" was their stand in for in.
