I'm a Korean American and I made this yesterday. I used chicken broth instead of water and added bacon bits. OMG, It was a hit. My son said it was better than the one from our favorite restaurant. Thanks for this great recipe.

I just made this! But instead of water I used clam juice and added 1tbsp of chicken bouillon. Came out delicious, first time making clam chowder :D thank you so much for this recipe! 🤍🏹

Throw in a little piece of salt cod it is a total game changer!!! But you definitely need to let it soak for a while or at least boil it down one time or perhaps two🤙🏽 But it will change your fish or clam chowder hundred percent

So, my wife loves Clam Chowder. It's her favorite thing in the world to eat. I have made it a few times for her, but I wanted to find something a bit more New England style. Which this is. I just made this for her and she loved it. The only thing I changed was instead of water, I used Chicken Broth and added some green onions for the last five minutes of cooking. It turned out fantastic. Thanks so much for the recipe!

@@dianaj.3377 Yeah all I did was remove the water, and add in the Chicken broth instead. I believe it called for two cups of water, I just changed it to two cups of broth. Really gave it a fantastic flavor. Hope you enjoy the change :)

I finally made this recipe, I thought it tasted, not bad. Maybe another time or two and it could be GREAT. It does have potential, that's for sure. Most of these recipes have all the same ingredients, there are a few that may be a little different. I know for a fact that some cooks do a few different things,where maybe it's missing an ingredient, a step,or who knows what. Not sure what they get out of that.

I put about 4 diced mushrooms to really bring out the savory of the clam. Some chicken bouillon, garlic powder, and some red wine vinegar. Really makes it complete in my book
