The Best Class for New Players in Baldur's Gate 3

It's actually the first time I've played a game like Baldur's Gate 3 and the few hours I've played so far have made it clear that I've made a damn good choice of game.

Thank you! I am a complete beginner to D&D types of game and I've been thinking this paladin was the best option for a beginner. Most people recommend fighter and /or barbarian because they are easier and staightfoward, but for rping and going through a 1st playthrough being able to dialogue, seems a charisma character is best and paladin seems like the less complicated of the bunch (and maybe the most fun). And vengence is definitely my preference for rp hehe.

Nice breakdown. Would love to see reviews and thoughts on other classes. Oddly enough my current first playthrough is with a vengeance Paladin. The Charisma alone has been a little more fun for me as well as the Paladin only dialogue lines.

Also you can change your class and companions class at Wither dude in the camp
