Speaking of, my buddy and I played live when MoP released and we spent 30 min on the bombing run quest because there was a figure 8 of gyrocopters trying to shoot the 3 red barrels on the horde ship. We took screenshots and it looked like the old windows solitaire effect when you won. Fun times.

I think what a lot of people are missing is there can only be one Evoker on a server, so we will see how that plays out for people that already have one and level a new one.

You can make one on another server, and pay to transfer it over to a realm you already have an evoker one - you've always been able to use that loophole with hero classes before Blizzard removes their limit...so I doubt it'll be an issue with moving them from timerunning to live servers. Or Blizz may remove that limitation by then!

I always plan in advance to main some other class or spec, but when it comes time to log in and start the expansion (or patch or whatever) I always go Spriest.

What better to go back in time to MoP with than a bronze, time travelling Dracthyr? (even though I already have a green one) Hoping they have mogs for evoker (and DH) instead of just borrowing from other mail/leather classes.

Ill be making another druid to level through quests and some dungeons quickly. You get easy travel access with travel form, with the fact you can interact with stuff while in travel form itll be super quick. Ontop of that you can tank and heal, so you can switch to whatever is more in demand in dungeons for instant queues. Once i got my cloak to be super charged up ill make some alts to level them to 70. After this event ill have all classes at 70 so im looking forward to that, plus all the transmog im missing :)

I'm using this opportunity to level classes of the opposite faction; a big Tauren warrior always fascinated me. And the sunfury mage looks amazing in the upcoming expansion, so I'll also make a blood elf mage.

Question: How does the stat cloak behave for timewalking chars on different servers? If I have a lvl 70 on server A with big cloak stats, does my timewalking char on server B get the same stats or do I start at 0 again?

i believe that it is character locked, i can imagine the meta spiraling out of control fast if there wasnt a teensy bit of friction. but do understand that as you grow in level and do harder content, the Bronze will flow faster and better for that character.

Probably going to be a Druid - So I can Tank / Heal and DPS... and sneak around. (Already got 4 Paladin / 4 Hunters 😂). My current Druid is a Kul'tiran... so it'll be a Night Elf Druid instead.

My druid is a Nightelf so in the remix I'll level a Kul Tiran :). I'll probably level another mage and priest too (already got 2 of each but they are so much fun!). And perhaps a deathknight or paladin just to see how unstoppable they can be.

100% being a druid, so much mobility, quality of life, all specs for tanking, melee and ranged dps, and healer, (going to farm dungeons as tank for massive bronze) , stealth to get past mobs I don't want to deal with, instant mount form, great offhealing, etc etc. I'll farm all the stats and exp bonus on cape as druid then switch to alts to level them.

Going to be levelling a Paladin first off as I am changing servers. I would recommend a class that has either a heal spec or tank spec so then you can work towards doing dungeons solo or with 2 people fairly quickly

I have a question. You mentioned you were going to redo a lot of your alts, after you level them in Pandaria remix, are you going to delete the original ones? Or am I missing something here? Wouldn't you lose your rep achievements when you do that? Or is there a way to just start your existing ones over?

I have everything max for a while already. Took this oppertunity to level all 4 allied races on horde side that i still needed for the heritage achievements and armor. Done all alliance once but never did horde. So very fun doing it this way. Maxing out the first one to get the max achievement for the alts cloak and then will start leveling those other 3 allied races :)

I would think the factions are still split. Unlike Classic or SoD, Remix is built on top of the Retail system so apart from loot and lvling progress everything else is going to function like retail.

so if you already have an alt like a DH level 58 for example, you will be able to level him up in pandamix or will you be able to make him again in the pandamix from scratch and then when the event is over you delete the one you had idle and keep the new pandamix version of him?

You will not, you will have to create a new character and level it, anything else wouldnt make sense anyway due to how different the event will be.

@@fabiusque4266 that is how I thought it would be, but he said something that make me question it, he said that you can replace your alts (that yo have now on retail) and change names and finish leveling them. So I guess you will have to create a timerunner like your alt, level it in the event as per normal and in the end when it is over and the timerunners come to retail...delete your alt and keep his new version. I hope I expressed myself correctly.

Current main is a paladin and has been since BC, second char I'm enjoying is dark iron dwarf SPriest, I have 4 other max level alts incl a mage I've had forever. Warband wise I want one of each armor type so I am thinking of re rolling either druid or DH for leather and shaman for mail since I have never played one, and will be draenie to boot. I am stoked for this event and having you say you're going to be 'replacing' chars for the name change etc makes me feel a little better about doing the same

when you go to make a fresh toon, the option will come up if you want to level one normally or go into Remix Mode, throughout the event you'll be living on Pandaria, leveling, questing, farming Bronze, the single new currency. it is used to buy things and upgrade things, but there is no Professions, no Gold and no AH.

Yes and yes. Allied races are already unlocked for everyone when you have a lvl 40 character.

From what I read you get to create the characters on the realm of your choice. It's the same realms as normal ones but you're zoned differently until the event ends.

I have a lot of questions. 1. If I decide to play my main to change my name, when I go back to DF in max level, will my old bank contents be retained? 2. What about the gear that my main character wore in DF? 3. Will the recipes I learned before the remix remain?

You can't play any existing characters, you have to create brand new ones assigned to the event and you'll only be able to continue to retail once Remix ends.

I am a main Evoker and started playing since Dragonflight, I have some classes I want to have on my alt army like a Druid, Hunter, Shaman, Warlock and maybe a Rogue. My main soloing is gonna be a demon hunter. Can swap between havoc and veng on the fly and basically be immortal. Plus dashing/gliding to make things quicker.

I am thinking about making a human to unlock as much reputation with the factions and as far as class goes, I am thinking about warlock. I have not looked into the green fire quest that much but maybe I can work on completing that.

this seems like its going to be a ton of fun but i wonder, can you go alt crazy and keep your cloak between factions. Im all horde and would love to get some alts for alliance side to play with some folks, i imagine its not going to be so restrictive as to make you start a new cloak with the other faction but i just havent seen anything about it.

Not sure what race/class I want to run for MoP Remix b/c I have one of each class already...and they are all Horde except for my Dracthyr Evoker, so I'm thinking about rolling an Alliance Allied Race and making them a healer since I want to get into healing...or at least learn it. Also, this is an excellent way for me to learn how to heal. Not sure if I want to roll a Resto Shaman, Resto Druid, or a MW Monk. I just know that I'm going to change it up and turn them into Alliance

Small tip for prot warrior, your main mitigation tool is shield block. Keep that up as often as possible and supplement with ignore pain and that'll be your main tools to stay alive. Prot warrior was my first spec I really stuck with and I love it a lot, I hope you do too!
