A question for Joe or anyone else in the fence Industry. A friend of mine is starting a business recycling wood fence material. The company he is going to sell the material to makes some type of agriculture bins for produce. They are getting some type of tax rebate/credit that makes using the used wood a better option financially vs. new wood. Obviously without the tax credit, the cost to reclaim the wood would be higher than it's potential value. My question: Do the majority of fence builders take old fence straight to the dump, or what is the standard within the industry?

It really depends on how much space a person has. The people I've fenced with stored the material on a trailer until it got full enough to take to the dump. And the dump I go to charges by the ton and I think it's like $100 a ton. Anything under a ton still gets charged for that ton minimum.

Joe.. Brother You got to do more videos on That Fool Jeff Thorman..!! This Guy is a Minefield of Fuckups.....!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 So much you can pick apart in all of his videos. His deck build videos are shocking.. Painting, gyprocking, insulation, carpentry, kitchen, bathroom builds..!!
