There would be no 2 front war and Germany would have a more advantageous attack on the soviets so there is a greater possibility of a German victory. Britain may not have won the war, however it was probably the greatest reason germany lost. A germany with free access to the Atlantic would stop the USA arming the soviets (through the Atlantic to the eastern front) so the soviets would be even worse off. There would be no italian campaign and an early defeat would ensure no African campaign either. There would be no D day to lessen troops on the eastern front. The soviets may still have beaten the germans but american support would be later and less effective as it would need to take a journey through all of Russia to get to the front, so the casualties would be far greater, as would the possibility of defeat. Britain remaining at war provided not only a powerful fighting force and navy, but also a great logistics link between america and Russia and a great mustering ground for naval invasions. Combined with the UK not giving nuclear research to america leading to the manhattan project not ending the war in Japan.
