I highly recommend curling cream after leave in conditioner cause it's going to leave your hair more moisturized till the next wash day

couple tips. if you have a job and can afford some professional shampoo and conditioner then that would do a lot for your hair. my life changed after going from aussie to redken and moroccanoil products. also if you can, try to only apply shampoo to your scalp/roots. the shampoo trickling down to your ends will cleanse the excess oil but not completely dry out your ends or strip your hair from natural oils. when using conditioner, only use it on your mids and ends of hair. basically from where you tie it for a ponytail down to the ends. you want to use your comb only when you have conditioner in your hair. still, your hair looks a lot better than before but the things above would elevate your routine.

Use a denman brush it might make your curls pop. Its not as wide toothed as the brush you was using. If it works for you make a vid on it please. Bless

Trick is detangling... Most people try without their hair properly detangled and that just causes knots. Another problem is what I'd call the sponge which is when you wet your hair too much and put a thick product which just causes whitecast and prevents your hair from curling

I dont have your type of hair but i have the same 4c hair type like your brother but my question is when i deep conditon my very short 4c hair can i steam it under a streamer to get the deep conditoner to hydrate my hair longer?

Question: If you were to blow dry your hair out like last time and do the exact same curls routine, would the curls be longer?

if my hair were to be blow dried, i would have to wet my hair again but my in doing so, my hair would revert back to its natural state so no my curls wouldn't be longer.
