Using a luminous yellow - green it’s actually amazing for the buildings in fragment and still hits hard - also on console if you want the invisible set it to blue and slide it to the darkest setting this will eliminate the volt wingman and re45 added cross air gobbledegook and makes it have a single dot instead

What helps the most is focusing on what you're aiming at instead of the crosshairs. Because not just the crosshairs but so many things get in the way like bullets hitting shields debris from missed bullets and muzzle flash can all turn your crosshairs invisible. Of you try to put whatever you aim at in the center of your screen you can aim without focusing on the crosshairs and you'll probably see you're aiming a lot better. It works best with up close hip fire tracking but it can help with the wingman too when you don't have a frame of reference from the recoil animation

FYI for real world weapon optics Red and Green are chosen for reasons. Green is detected by eyes much quicker

There isn't an "Error" when making it too bright, you just pressed Exit, you have to click Escape with your mouse in the bottom left and it works

If you’re a bloodhound main then i recommend a neon blue or cyan because when you activate your ultimate it stays blue so it lets the crosshairs stand out against a player model as they are now red

Yeah I find it weird too that when swopping to a rare red weapon, the sights don't automatically swop over. I hate grabbing a spitfire and finding out in a fight that i don't have the sight I previously had.

What I think is a good idea (or what has worked for me at least) is to make the crosshair still mostly white, just slightly tinted towards the color you want or think works. In my case, a cyan blue of sorts. So the white has a slight blue glow on the edges and stands out against anything, whether it's white or blue.

I thought I was the only 1 using a purple reticle. Also it's called RGB the 3 primary colours used for pixels in video games. 255 is the max amount of shades for Red Green and Blue so if you understand shading and basic programming, you should be able to create some awesome colours

I always use that pink/magenta because in the Dev space that color typically mean a texture is missing and many artists ans such will avoid that color.

As far as I know pink is chosen for missing material/ texture as it rarely 'blends' with other colours and it grabs the devs attention to fix it. Likewise, it grabs the players attention and stands out the most amongst other bright colours outside of the player HUD. I get your point as a dev, for a dev, but for player's UX not so much.

Is there a Way to remove the hue you see on some reticles? Like at 1:26 the right side view of the reticles has this insane amount of hue around the actual reticle in darker vistas which is asinine. I need a reticle, not a neon sign... The color is nice and helpful but that hue is so annoying. And it shows up on other reticles too...

Ive been using a pink reticle since battlefield 5 and its painted sights, games rarely have pink as a prominent colour so i figured it would be the perfect colour and lo and behold here it is, best sight colour

Funnily enough, that kind of hot/candy pink is the exact same colour that's popular to use on ESO for enemy AoEs and such, its so bright and distinct that it very easy to notice as opposed to many other colours

I changed mine to yellow and I no longer feel dependent on an optic for the flatline or 301 at all. I absolutely beamed 2 people from top of storm catcher to the grav cannon below the big drop off without a sight on the flatline. Perhaps not impressive to some, but I legitimately struggled without an optic before. I just find the vivid yellow easier to focus on than the duller stock red.

The Tritanopia color blind setting makes the default color yellow, it’s what I used before the update (and after now that I’m used to the other color changes it gives too)

I think it is Bright Pink. Its one that has worked better for me than yellow and just stands out
