Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

I see the freediving training has come in handy!! I did a freediving course in May and I really can't wait to go again or even just on a snorkeling trip so I can enjoy the reef more than just hovering above it all! The views from that flight were incredible!!

Loving this series! 😊 Just wondering what do you do with your valuables when you go on day trips and excursions? Like your cameras on the boat and things? Did you just leave them on the boat in your bag? Keep up the awesome videos! ❤

Yeh if I’ve brought valuables on the boat, they just stay on the boat when I’m snorkelling. If someone was thinking about stealing them, they wouldn’t get very far with them being on a boat in the middle of the sea 😅 All my other valuables stay at the hostel, normally in a locker but as there wasn’t any lockers in this hostel, I just kept them in a closed bag under my bed.

Im commenting at 1:18 in the video bc my adhd brain is too curious about the info and I have to ask. I thought if you went scuba diving recently (1-3 days) that you shouldn't fly? Due to pressure changes and such- maybe you explain and Im just too impatient 😅 loving the Australia series, hope you are doing well ❤

You are somewhat correct 😅 you shouldn’t fly within 24 hours of diving (or just 12 hours if it was a no-decompression dive) I did this scenic flight 3 days after my last scuba dive ☺️

I started my trip down the East Coast from Cairns after I finished my semester abroad at Newcastle ☺ I did a two days sailing trip with the Waltzing Matilda🏝🚤 I prefer sailing over a speed boat trip, because you can enjoy the Whitsundays in such more detail and when you pick the right boat you get to meet lovely people to have wonderful conversations with and get a great crew!! The Waltzing Matilda is definitely for an age group starting at 25 +, which makes it quieter and more relaxing. A friend of mine even did a three days diving sailing adventure, but this would be on a more pricier end 😅 I take a hot guess that you'll be off for a dive at Ayr to see the SS Yongala Wreck😏 I did this back then as well and Oh my god, the fishes are stunning, HUGE, but it was so impressive 😍 Love your series so far, brings me back to my time in Australia 💙
