When you message the winners of the contest tell them to only message you back with their own twitter names and you can follow them and talk over DM on twitter so they know its real.

Lindsey! I had the same thing done to me when I had a giveaway about a year ago and I filed for impersonation under the report section and you had to submit a form of id and the channel was taken down within a few days!!

One thing you should do is in future giveaway videos (and announce it for this one), clarify a specific way that you will contact people. Maybe say you will always make a video with the winners mentioned specifically, and until you make that video not to trust anything they receive or click on ANY links.

Lindsey, you have to report to KZbin those spammers for impersonation. For those who receive a 'You've won my giveaway!' sort of message/email, always check the KZbin channel of that person first! Most likely, spammers won't have any videos! Also, KZbinrs don't ever ask you to go to another website to claim your prize! Everyone be careful!

The semester I just finished was the first semester I registered immediately when my registration was open (the other years I had holds and stuff to stop me from doing it asap) and I had a really great semester! I always plan out my classes for good times and check every professor available for that class on Rate My Professor. I'm super excited for Spring because I have no classes at 8am, and none that start past 12:30! And all of my professors have great reviews. Honestly, I feel like the professor really determines how well you'll do in the class. The past semester I just finished was my best yet by a long shot!

Maybe on giveaway videos you can disable comments & make the entry a web page like "rafflecopter" so that hackers don't know who have entered the giveaway. & then it's also way easier to pick winners that way.

Just mention the winner in the latest video to the giveaway's end instead of messaging the winner. Ask the person, when you announce the winner, to message YOU so it gets to the right account and say to make sure its the right username before opening a message that you may reply. You dont have to make a video only for the winner but just mention it in a video. Or in your giveaway video tell people to make sure the username contacting them is correct before clicking!
