I remember having a tie against the Heart. Turns out dying to the final boss' final heartbeat does NOT count as having finally escaped the Spire. I did not know. I thought a dead heart stopped beating.

To confirm, at 56:44 when the Tomb of Lord Red Mask triggered - If that would have ordinarily been a combat floor that was swapped due to Juzu Bracelet, the Bracelet would have flashed in the relic bar, right? So literally, Juzu did nothing there.

red mask is a shrine not an event and juzu turns combats to events

@@scotthynding6106 It's also interesting how he lost soon after switching to rotating streak. I think it's a bit harder to have to constantly switch gears in what you are focusing on and types of builds you need to win A20H.

mr Baalor man. Clad is tricky for me. I like to think I'm good at rolling with the punches in this game, and most of the time I find clad pretty easy, but then you get that clad run where nothing make sense, and hindsight can find a win, but the desicions in hindsight are so convoluted and different that I'm reevaluating my life choices.What I've found is maybe taking common attacks less agressively might be the trick, but then that would make all the normal runs harder. I have no idea what I'm doing, it seems, and it's those few clad runs that just donk my streak. I mean, the defect is probably harder overall for me, never really figured it out there, but for clad it just feels like I know exactly what to do, and then, all of a sudden, I know nothing. It's rare enough to not call it inconsistent, but it feels so polarizing, I guess is the word. Not really seeking advice here, just something that baffle me lately. Before I tried to get win treaks I didn't even notice it, but now the clad has become very interesting to me. Man, if they manage to make spire 2 half as interesting a this I'm gonna be impressed. Edit: Apoligize for lots of spelling/case mistakes. Won't fix 'em though, only point them out to make myself seem smarter without making any real change. Cheers!

Any time you get a Dead Branch and a consistent exhaust synergy, it’s a great time. My favorite way to play Iron Clad

I wonder who’s the strongest in the spire… is it defect power spam or the clad with dead branch corruption? It would be a close fight. Maybe watcher mini deck infinite? The only thing I do know is that the silent is no where in the conversation! 😂😂😂 obviously has a strong synergy with 9999999 damage poison builds but it’s not in the running with the speed of the other ones.. if I had to pick one that was strongest I’d say it’s defect. The power spam run he had last year was silly. Killed everything on turn one.

The easiest way i found was to spam act 1 watcher runs until i got slime boss and then focus on collecting potions that help as well as high damage cards. Good luck!

new guy here. why does your game look diferent ??? like, the path highlights, the little flame thig next to the floors, a bunch of diferent relics i dont get. is it mods ? addons ??? or just game progress ??

Hallooo! So, absolutely nothing mechanically different in the game here - if there are relics you haven't seen, it's probably that you just haven't seen them yet, which might be because you haven't unlocked them if you're pretty new. The green pathing is a modded feature, as are the stats for each relic on what they've done in the game, and the % chance of getting a potion ... that sort of stuff. Revealing information but not changing the game. Flame thing next to the doors I'm not sure I can answer but I reckon a friendly player will be along soon to address it. Enjoy the game - it's a lot of fun.

"Flame thing next to the floors" is the ascension counter. There are 20 levels of ascension that unlock with each victory on the previous level of ascension. You start at ascension "zero" and unlock ascension 1 after your first win with that character. Ascension adds stacking difficulty modifiers, and Baalorlord plays on Ascension 20 (the highest difficulty), which means 20 additional modifiers to make the game harder.
