If you go to a local or something, do you get a side deck like yugioh? A couple of cards you can switch into your deck for match ups. Or is the deck you register with all you get?

@@txta786 sadly no side decking in Pokemon. Tourneys are structured totally differently. In yugioh you get roughly 45 to 50 minutes for a best of 3 match. In Pokémon you get 45 minutes for a best of 1 (GENERALLY the rules are different from locals to regionals and depends on the amount of players in the event) Both are Swiss based tournaments :) I hope this helped!

@@sang_from_rushhour3009 I see both zard at two and at three but in my experience with my build running 5 energies the odds of having a 3rd zard on board with energy ready for reign is super slim unless you are using your rods exclusively for energies but generally speaking if you have energies to rod you also have a zard to rod most of the time. 3 was too bricky for me personally.
