I think the problem is 3 cost floodborn with Bucky. But even without Bucky Diablo has felt like immediately banish or lose to.

Personally I think you need 2 Be Preps in that pawsicles deck at least. Against Emerald Steel you want to get to 7 Ink fast for when they go wide and you're just top decking. I got saved so many times this way

With this Emerald Steel meta Ruby/ Sapphire is not playable in its current form..unfortunately :/

Bucky is more of an issue than Diablo in itself. Unless you play Steelsong or S/S, its too much value too early with Diablo Shift and Aladdin, etc etc

The ward is the main issue, not many cards efficiently remove it

Yup, only way, and fastest, to regain some control is by turn 3 shifted Robin hood + Grab...of you still have cards in hand, linkable, and all the needed cards...and assuming opponent doesn't Ursula your Grab away...at which point you are at or 2 cards in hand, top decking and hoping he doesn't Diablo again on next turn...😢

Bucky Diablo is the reason LGS's are going to see a dwindling participation in Lorcana competative play. Rather just play casual theme decks, the quest, and single or double pack format. Way more fun since we get to play with the cards we buy.

People need to stop with the “ban this card because I lose to it” Atlanta was won with a freaking fairy godmother. Build something that beats Bucky…Diablo….be prepared…etc. figure it out instead of copy paste deck list 😂

u do realize its because of the amount of floodborns they now have to play that made them finally good. set 2 bucky deck vs set 4 bucky deck are two completely different beasts

I found the saving grace for amber ruby, it's dinner bell. We now have a mass of characters that make dinner bell good and draw an absurd amount of cards and double chernabog keeps you going indefinitely.
