Hi @TheForbiddenMountain, thank you so much for having featured our event! We are very enthusiast and honoured to be shown in your channel! This was the 3rd of a series of 4 events yearly. We will host the next one in November, where there will also be Artabax, Moyen and Harlan as special guests. Hopin' to have you there -Kain

This list will change over this weekend. Both DLC's are attracting participants from all over and not specific regions, plus a lot of competitive players rely on deck lists from premier events like DLC's, so people are still unsure of what to play and have just made minor upgrades to the decks they've already been playing

Honestly I think if sapphire/amethyst didn’t have the cute nickname “blurple” no one would play it

But you gotta also taking an account that more people want to play but in those tournaments in the locals, they just do an invite only

What do you mean invite only?

Be interesting seeing breakdown between metas in best of 2 and best of 3 format. In my experience ruby saph does better in a best of 3 but can 1-1 a lot in best of 2 against faster decks

Honestly I’d love to be able to fairly dictate that information. But simply don’t have data outside of DLCs for 2 game format.
