Honestly I still think fire king is up with the other snake eye variants and think it’s better than snake eye melodious. The reason for the decks decline in success is less of the deck being worse and more that pure is just better so everyone switched. If pure wasn’t as good fire king would be better. The deck still ends on 9-10 disruptions with 3 cards in hand, plays through handtraps like it’s nothing and can play up to 15 handtraps+

D Barrier isn’t an excuse for B tier for melodious when you have Branded, VV, Purrely, and Tenpai which also all die to D Barrier. The “bricks” aren’t really bricks in the pure deck. The deck only really loses to board breakers which aren’t as common as hand traps currently. Deck also has a good matchup into Snake Eyes, Tenpai, and VV. Should definitely be top of A tier.

I feel as though your knowledge on chimera is not very high judging by your placement. The new support allows for consistent quickplay-spell lock or barrier statue as well as the negates from the GY, its a lot stronger than a hand-rip lol

I thought the same thing too, also the different variants of the deck can also change things, I mean melodious chimera literally won the Toronto regional. Even pure illusion chimera got top 4 at the Dutch Nationals

i dont agree at all with this list. Tenpai should be S tier Branded should be S tier VV should be S tier Pure melodious should be S tier Lab can stay in either B or to A i dont know what u base your info on and im actually curious about it. if this is just info from your local scene/regionals then i can understand otherwise this tier deck list is far from true. i do like your content tho

Nah. Tenpai is so easy to side against that it’s never going to be as good of a deck as long as people respect it and aren’t just incompetent when playing against them
