How do you find regional events? I know what my local store is doing and then the challenge events near. But where do you track and find out about 1ks and 5ks and those things?

@theforbiddenmountain I won a 4 week league 11 - 0 -1 With Emerald Amethyst, deck is pretty sweet ! only draw/loss was to Ruby-sapphire Beprepared into double mcduck manor. Still undecided for championships, Ruby/Am lists i had are good, as were the Ruby/saph, seems alot of the meta is starting to shift away from Ruby-Am !

if you were going blind into a meta in any specific store or area you have not been to, which deck would you take? I am torn between R/A , Sapphire / Steele, Ruby / Sapphire and Emerald / Steele. I can do decent with either of the 4 but want to narrow down and go in hard into practicing but man I can't decide and been arguing for a couple weeks now.

The meta is pretty diverse atm. I’d go emerald steel, it’s a consistent B+/A- deck that can beat any deck as long as you pilot it well. It has clearly defined limits though and relies a little on luck in really tough situations.

The sad part is people who were playing ruby amythist don't know how to really navigate ruby/sapphire they aren't aware there are dangers to said ruby/sapphire I been playing the deck since day 1 however.... Even though it's grown with different supports, and with dime it's still lacks allot of stuff just because you see it being the one they won 10k dosen't mean the it must be the deck. I love when people decide to play a deck without the hours put into it.

I think the problem for SCG ATL was the Pixelborn tournament tbh. Why travel when you can stay home and play for double the prize?

I think Atlanta would have been much more successful had the 10k not been going on. The competitive scene here is much more geared toward cash tourneys and the players gravitate towards larger payouts, hence everyone was at home playing in the 10k
