18:10 I’ve been playing a bit of a different Surfer list (with Chavez/Okoye shenanigans) and it has been great, highest winrate I’ve had in a while, I have beat so many Doom decks lol

Red Guardian needs to be nerfed, once that happens, everything will change. Rogue, Negasonic, Juggernaut, Cosmo, Luke Cage, Mobius, Magic. Thats the whole list of tech cards at 3 cost, none of them gets to have more than 3 power and get heavily punished for missing (except luke cage, the other absurd 3 cost). For some reason Red Guardian, (hate card against 90% of the cards in the game) gets to be a 3/5 with no consequence. He beats you and sh*t on you. He should be a 3/3, thats it. Once he gets nerfed the rest of 3 drops make sense. If you want to go above 3, the ceiling is Copycat and then you gotta make meaningul decisions other than "red guardian sh*t on you"

@@eduardosanz9434Red Guardian is totally fine. It’s the easiest card to play around in the game. Play a one cost and then your other card. Anything it hard counters despite this, it does so because it is one of the only cards that can keep it in check (Madame Web, Thena, Dracula.)

@@kl3554 I think thats the point Eduardo was going for, all other 3 drops he mentioned have polarizing effects at 3 power while red guardian baseline is 5 power. I agree with him that red guardian should lose the negative affliction. He would still see play due to the unique effect of interacting with low power cards but would give room for other polarizing 3 drops that he now matches in power to maybe replace him in certain decks.

Probably should’ve been running SuperSkrull for the mirror match, but I didn’t, and still I never ranked to infinite as fast as when I started playing Doom 2099 control with Storm/Legion/War Machine. That card (Doom2099) singularly made that deck work for me. Love it.

I've been playing that version of Discard for a while now. I really like the Strong Guy and GM stuff. It's the one deck I actually seriously play GM in, he's just great here at essentially being another copy of one of your Discards, or giving you another Malekith pull.

Is Rocket and Groot actually better than say Cassandra Nova in surfer or is it just new? I found them to be clunky on your curve. In Hope decks (especially without nova/killmonger) It rarely made sense to play. In Sera Surfer decks I guess it makes more sense but like not sure its better than Cass and not just a sidegrade at best

Havok Good = Meta Good. I love the deck. Am trying to figure out the best list. Cosmo + RG are essential. Grocket / Cass seems equal. The trick is whether or not to cut a card for Jugg.

These tier lists are a great illustration of the main problem with card acquisition. So many decks need Hydra Bob and to a less extent Anti-Venom. Only whales and weirdos got Bon and so many people had to pass on AV die to other good cards coming out around that time that were must-have for other archetypes. In a game that with a somewhat okay acquisition model we would have chances to get cards we missed like this.

From what I've seen the best current destroy build is running lady deathstrike which is very good into a lot of the small cards being used right now. I would not go with the classic destroy shell in this format.

It's pretty much a Havok deck. He's necessary because of the late game power he can provide.

I am running a Doom2099 deck that I am mopping the floor with. I don't see anyone bring this deck up. It has Dr. Doom and Leader as the 6 drops. I call it Follow the leader. Zabu, Psylock, Magik, Doom2099, Jubilee, Galacta, Iron Lad, Superskrull, Ironman, Blue Marvel, Dr. Doom, Leader. Almost won infinite conquest. Lost the last round being greedy lol. Currently using it to climb the ladder at 95 right now.

I spent 3 keys last week, did not get Bruce Banner, I spent 3 keys this week, did not get Rocket & Groot. I know I'm not the smartest man in the world and I know getting the spotlight card isn't a guarantee, but the odds of that happening 2 weeks in a row are laughable. I don't usually completely get rid of games that I bought or put money into, but I'm this close to deleting Marvel Snap. And if I decide to delete it, it will not be downloaded again anytime soon. There are too many other games I'd rather play, and too many things I'd rather do than waste my time and money on a game that I only get what I want 1 out of 5 times if I'm lucky. And I do not think it's random, I think this game is financially predatory, and they try to force people to spend money and resources. Which is next level wrong.
