I understand the lack of time, but doing that in the evening would keep the sun from burning that water right back off. It is a great idea though. I will be at Harbor Freight this weekend getting what I need to complete the set-up.

Harbor freight has a smaller 1” pump that does the same thing and is very impressive! It’s only $60 cheaper though.

Many people think there's nothing to deer hunting or turkey hunting or any other type of hunting. Hard work goes into hunting. Land management, plots, green fields. I was raised hunting both family land and in three hunting club's. Ugh can't stand a muzzle loader, will use a rifle but I much prefer a crossbow, a compound bow not so much. My best thus far is a Ten point. I laugh every time I think about it... I out hunted my daddy and brother. That ten point won me $ 1,500 bucks from my daddy and brother plus they had to pay to have my deer mounted!

Yeah in the future I’m going to keep it on the trailer and just drive around watering instead of dragging that heavy hose everywhere

That food plot looked like it needed 10,000 plus gallons to be of any use. There is a calculator on the web that tells you how many gallons. Not worth the time.
