I found Jomez on KZbin late last year, right about the time I turned 50. I used to play in the 90's, even did some local tournaments. Was never that good but always enjoyed the game. One of my regular playing friends passed away and the other moved and I just sort of phased out of it. Haven't thrown in 20+ years, watching this coverage and seeing how far the sport has come has inspired me. I'm gonna get out there this spring and give it another go. Might have to invest in some new plastic though, not sure my 25 year old heavily scarred Raven and Cyclone are going to cut it. Thanks for bringing me back into the fold. Without your work it wouldn't have happened.

I started playing Disc Golf regularly at the beginning of this year. My Dad and my grandfather (Mother’s side) used played everyday back in the 90’s before they would go to work. They showed me the game when I was little and I wasn’t all that into it because I could never throw the disc more than 40 feet, when I was a teenager they would only play on the weekends and I would sometimes tag along with them just to spend time with them, but I wasn’t even close to being as good as them and I wasn’t really trying to learn how to play. Then 2016 hit and they stopped going as often because my Grandpa just didn’t have the energy to play a whole round anymore. And in late 2017 he passed away from Lung cancer. He loved the sport so much because it got him to play a sport that was easy for him to play, and it got him outside. But sadly, after his passing, my Dad stopped playing Disc Golf and said that he is done playing for good so we put all of my grandpa’s discs into a box and put them away. Fast forward to like November of 2018 and I asked my Dad if he wanted to play a round of Disc golf at our local course and we did. It was kind of cold so we only played 6 holes. I still sucked lol but that’s when I started watching Clinics and and tips for beginners and then when it was finally warm enough to play (March 2019) I started playing, about a few times a week and then almost everyday and without realizing it, I was addicted. Then soon after I started, I got recommended a JomezPro video (I can’t remember which one it was exactly.) and fast forward to almost a year later and Disc Golf is a major part of my life, I got my brother a few friends into it and now we play at least once a week with my Dad whenever we can. (Whether sucks right now lol) I am also planning on starting a Disc Golf Club at my school so I can grow the sport in my area. But I just wanted to thank everyone at Jomezpro for making this past year that I have been watching, learning, and playing Disc Golf a fantastic one and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Jomezpro, and for Disc Golf. Thank you!

Great production (always), tight edit, and a wonderful extension to the 2019 season in the dead of winter! The quick clips at the end of the reel with James' celebration was qual. I played 4 rounds in the last 2 days inspired by Jomez and the PDGA tour players. I was often the only one on the course :) Thanks again Jomez crew.
