great video HOWEVER, many of us can do exactly what you are teaching but the problem is people stop doing this motion because they do not understand the first move down. They will always pull the ball because their trail shoulder comes over the top. This, i think, is due to not knowing what to do with the trail elbow. I tried this "spin" many times and gave up because of the pull but somebody showed me how to start the down swing properly and what to do with that trail elbow. That is what people need to know because the spin is great but you must teach them the next part of the swing or they will quit using it almost immediately. Hope to see a sequel video that explains the next step to keep golfers playing.

Hi Michael, Very helpful tip. Is it okay for the lead knee to go down? Ps I was lucky enough to have a seat next to you on a flight to NY many years ago when my mother was ill. Good to reconnect again!

What about picking up your forward heel or foot?

I do. I find it helps me turn my right hip.

Great reminder for older folks. When trail hip goes back the right leg tends to straighten. Is this ok?

Mine does, and when it does I get my longest distance.

I thought, shoulders first, then the hips started the takeaway.

The danger here is the lead hip comes forward and the posture is lost

What do you suggest?🤷
@factual65912 ай бұрын
@@ST-xg3gy keep the lead hip back in the set-up position, then it will go back further and the trail hip will continue the pelvic rotation, without the “humping’ effect

@@factual6591 Lol, I think you mean "bumping", not "humping"
