I want to go for a goose down pillow but I'm a side sleeper and also like my head a bit raised than being flat level due to my shoulder widths. I know there are level of firmness avail on the site I'm looking, but would love to hear your thoughts also?

Is there such a thing as a down pillow that doesn't smell? I found what I thought was the perfect pillow at Brooklinen but they have a wet dog, or should I say wet bird smell. Is it true that goose doesn't have a smell, but duck does?

I had the best down pillow ever from QVC of all places. I got it 15 years ago and the only reason I need a new one is bc the case is falling apart..probably bc I washed and dried it many times. I still haven’t found one that comes close.

Disappointed with my firm down pillow from Brooklinen. From the moment it arrived it had a distinct barnyard aroma. After talking to multiple customer service reps, they assured me that this is normal and that the pillow simply needs to air out. After multiple days of ventilation and a few cycles through the dryer, the odor endured. Also, as a side note, the customer service reps did not follow through with me. Oh, and they never posted my review on their site. Kinda shady!
