I’ve had the Purple pillow since January (10 months) and I have chronic neck pain. My husband loved it so much he was always stealing it so we recently got him one too. I like the Purple’s adjustability and coolness (I am a HOT sleeper). We have a Tempur-Pedic mattress now which has sunk in a bit over time so I am still fiddling with the loft, but having that adjustability helps. I actually needed to take one layer out of mine despite being a side sleeper, and my broad-shouldered husband needed one more layer so it worked out well. I just got the Pillow Cube for Side and Back sleepers. I wasn’t sure what to expect with it. I wanted to get a 4” but they only had the 5” available. I’ve never had a better night’s sleep. Then again, I seem to have similar taste to Noah. So I’ll probably have to give the Purple a shot. I’ll always pick quality over price, even if that means I have to wait to buy. Why buy a car that’s uncomfortable and not safe when there are better options, even if they’re more expensive. There are options that satisfy the in-between, but a pillow is not a car and is easier to save for before buying than the car is. If it’s going to last and save money, pain, and suffering in the long run, it’s probably worth it (unless it’s completely too good to be true)

Constant fluffing, turning, punching down. Don’t need to do that with the cube. And it really is cooler. It’s not cool, I’ve yet to find a bed, sheets, anything that really does that. But I haven’t woken up with sweaty hair yet. Second place is one of the ones where you can adjust the filling. I haven’t tried the purple pillow, but I might in my quest for sleep.

I just want to thank you! You're reviews got me to buy the coop eden! I've had it ten months now, I plan to do a review at the one-year mark, and I absolutely love it. I am an all-of-the-above sleeper, side, back, front, and I have a tendency to squish my pillows against the head of my bed (yes, I have a headboard, yes I have thrown myself thrown myself headfirst off my bed before, yes I'm going to pretend that's normal) so my pillows last 4 months maximum because I just seem to beat them to death. So when I found the coop pillow with refillable stuffing, I had to try it. The first month was so good I couldn't read in bed because I would fall asleep. I only just added stuffing for the first time and I'm learning how much extra stuffing I need to revive the pillow enough for it to be good without over-filling it, but this is totally my forever pillow. If a pillow can survive a year with me it could last a normal person years upon years. So yeah, great product. You're prior review (and a few others) helped me find my little pillow cloud, so I appreciate the work you're doing!

Weird question but how often do you have to tumble low in the dryer?
@myheartiswriting2 жыл бұрын
@@niki3597 Not weird at all! I've only put it in the dryer about three times since I purchased it, which is now about a year and a half. I mostly throw it in the dryer to refluff the pillow and to sanitize it a little. However, I did notice that even on tumble dry low it does cause the stuffing to turn slightly green, in a kind of melted and resolidifying kind of way that changed the texture a little (only noticeable when your putting your hand in.. So that made me hesitant to put it in the dryer too often. Despite this I learned a basic fluffing revives the pillow and manually fluffing (opening the pillow and pulling the stuffing fibers apart) makes it like new.

@@andria2369 I’ve suffered from hip pain off and on through the years and went for some PT. The PT actually helped me find the best position for me to sleep and it included a small pillow being wedging between my back and mattress and also sleeping with a pillow between the knees. Sleeping with a pillow between the knees helps to keep your pelvis open and alleviate any pressure.
@DCupcake583 жыл бұрын
@@andria2369 I also deal with vertigo and use a two wedge pillows from Amazon to put under my mattress so the whole width of the mattress where my head is is the same slightly elevated level. I did cut the wedge down at the thicker portion on both wedges as I was up at too high an angle and then my tailbone was sore. I then only need one pillow under my head which for me is the Coop. But I’ve gone through hundreds of dollars in pillows. Vertigo is horrible and I get anxiety some nights thinking I’ll have an episode so I’m afraid to move. I hope you’ve been to a doc or PT who can help you. My husband helps me with the Epley maneuver when I have an episode. Good luck!

Off-topic, but learn how to use a safety razor. I bought one and a pack of 100 razor blades in 2017 off of Amazon for $40, and I'm a little over halfway through the blades. Shaves legs, pits and anything else just fine, and when I do cut myself shaving, I barely notice and it's not as irritated as with other razors. I will never go back and pay $30 for 6 cartridges ever again.

The wife and I have had the hardest time finding the correct pillow all our lives and because of this video we ordered the body pillow by coop and it has changed our sleeping forever!!! (In a good way!) the fact that you can adjust the fluff whenever is amazing, the pillow is super soft on the outside and we removed about 1/2 the fluff to begin with and it was just short of perfect! After about a month we both agreed it was getting a little flat, we added a bit more fluff and viola!!!! The pillow was perfect again! We have even thought about buying one for camping! Thank you James! We were going to get the Sleep Gram before this video!

I am 5' 2" and I got the 4" long cube pillow. I have spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease and deal with a lot of pain if I don't have a good pillow. No lie - the cube took a bit of getting used to, but the support is amazing! After a few nights of the cube I went back to my previous favorite pillow (very similar to the COOP - it's a CosyHouse) and hands down the cube was better.

This makes me want to buy the coop!!♡

The Pillow Cube is certainly for a specific group of people who are side sleepers and need significant support. My neck has never felt better after getting my Pillow Cube Pro. I also use CPAP and most other pillows get in the way. Because the Pillow Cube is flat, it doesn’t obstruct the CPAP mask. So for some, it’s worth the investment while for others, they’re better with something else.

When I bought my Brooklyn Bedding mattress 4-5 years ago, it came with two free king size pillows made with shredded memory foam from their mattress. It came with a zippered case, and inside is a sealed mesh case holding the foam. I’m glad I found this video. I was actually considering the pillow cube but I have a feeling I wouldn’t end up liking it as much as I think after seeing all the reactions. I understand including the cost of the purple pillow as a deciding factor, but none of the others had cost weighed in. So if cost is to be included I’d rather see a weighted scale with cost, comfort, etc. for all of the pillows. It sounds like if cost wasn’t an option the Purple would’ve been the clear winner of the bunch. So I’m going to go get a Purple.
