Serengeti is the best! I use them for driving. I like the photochromic (transition) ability. Before I used to immediately take off my old sunglasses when I enter an underground parking lot because it gets too dark but not with the Serengeti. I can leave them on and still see clearly! You guys should talk about the technology that goes into the lens too. Or even put them on a real world test. I think that would help people with their buying decision.

How about the old time favorite Ray Ban Caravan with RB15 lens ? This is my most fave for driving in non-convertible cars. I avoid polarizing lens for driving to eliminate rainbow effect on tinted windows & instrument clusters. I also use MauiJim (forgot the model) that looks very similar to Serengeti. Brown lens with more tinted on upper part & less tinted on lower part to easily see the instrument clusters etc.

Im a big fan of any glasses that sit off my face a little. My fave pair of sun glasses is an old pair of oakley square wires, its hard finding a good square design like that any more ☹️

Got a question about the Agostino for you. Do the lenses really have that graduated look where they go from brown to almost black? I'm not asking about the lenses changing in lighting conditions. I'm asking if the lense color is graduated. It looks awesome in this vid but on the company website the lenses just look like one color and not graduated.

The lens you're looking for is not available on the Agostino model. And most of the time there gradient lens is not polarized. For pilot purposes. Kind regards 😉

Love the look of those Serengetis. Are those gradient lenses polarized, too? Or are the polarized lenses only available in solid colors? I'm looking for a good pair of aviator style sunglasses and polarized gradient lenses would be awesome. Not to mention those Agostinos are probably one of the few pairs that will fit on my big head lol

Joshua Elman Serengeti has gradient-polarized mineral lens ih some models, but in Agostino 8829 have only Drives Gradient ( Non Polarized) . Thath color, Agostino 8829 is 2019 model, no 2020. Yes, it is largest metal model in Serengeti colection.

We've tried that and it doesn't tend to work well with how the camera lens interprets the colors. We're still figuring out how to show the colors more accurately!

This is what's so frustrating in looking at a video that is suppose to tell about the qualities of sunglasses and why they're great for driving. Nothing but how they look on your face. Thats like buying a flashlight and saying how bright the light looks while you stare at it but with no real world performance tests! Come on people - you can do much better than this!!!
