It really is an excellent compressor. I bought it when I tested it. I didn't find anything better there on my drum bus

Hi there, I just wanted to mention SKnote (Quinto Sardo) who modelled this compressor before. With him it is sometimes a hit or miss. Some plugins suck and are CPU hogs some other plugins are just wonderful. His "Disto" (you know which comp this is ) is really cool and very CPU-efficient, his Verbtone plate reverb has a lovely depth, his dbx 165a clone is as good as Arturia's and... then there is THIS compressor. He called it the "Comp760" and sounds wonderful. However, his version costs just $39.99, which is pretty affordable compared to Kiive's. I want to add he's been always the first to model certain pieces of hardware before other better known brands take notice of these devices. It was the same with the Dimension-D chorus. Unfortunately, almost noone knows him, he is rather living in the underground.

Quinto is too esoteric, and he does himself no favours with this. I prefer his 2500 to the UAD one. When he's good, he's good.
