Crazy that my v40 has a headphone jack and still has enough air space inside the phone for it's "boombox speaker" feature all while having a notch display, 5 cameras and a fingerprint scanner all while apple claimed they had to remove the headphone jack because they needed the space for other hardware. What a farce. They removed the headphone jack because apple gets royalties from anything sold with a lightning port. If companies are forced to sell lightning headphones or dongles to be compatible then apple is raking in money without doing anything at all.

The three dots were supposed to go after the exclamation points on the first statement
I hate products that come with insanely nice packaging. Makes me feel like I paid a fairly premium price for a fucking box..... it's why I hate buying electronics. Spend less time and money on the packaging and either utilize that time and money on the actual product or pass the savings on to the consumer.... I'd appreciate that so much more than as fancy package.... that winds up in the trash regardless of how great it looks. Never understood the importance companies place on packaging. If your product is top notch you shouldn't have to rely on the damn box you put it in to give off the "quality product" vibe. It always kills me too when a product has stupid nice packaging and the product itself is made from plastic. Sure fire sign of an inferior product that likely relies more on brand recognition than actual quality of products. That's just my opinion.
@tritri3016 жыл бұрын
I'm with you on this, partialy. I hate when i buy a quality product and the box sucks because i want quality EVERYWHERE : on the unboxing, on the look, on the material, on what the product is supposed to do and on how long that product can do this thing without dying. So packaging is important for me when it is a quality product. It gives such a nice feeling to unbox something premium and then having a smile on my face when i finally end that unboxing. But as they all say, it's not the cover of the book that counts, and a product that relies sollely on it's ad and presentation really makes me want to kill it *cough* Beats *cought*. :P BY THE WAY buy products that have been openned before, it costs less, and it usually comes with a nice waranty, a brown ugly box and no defects what's so ever. ;)

These headphones are fantastic, regardless of the packaging. And they’re cheaper than the other high quality 3 driver headphones you can find. Okay, so I just got a pair of the 3.5 version of these. To me, something doesn't seem right. I open the box and it is different from all of these reviews. It didn't have a picture of the earbuds on the front of it, just the 1more logo and a hi res sticker. It did include everything, but just in a different layout. For example, in order to get to the eartips, I had to open where the earbuds are and under there were the eartips. It did have foam eartips. Also, under there was the airplane adapter and clip. I then plugged them in and while the highs and lows were very good, the mids sounded muffled and boxy. However, I've used them several hours already and can tell the midrange is getting better. Do you guys think I got fakes? Let me tell you, if they're fake, they sound pretty dang good for fakes. Did you guys experience muffled midrange? Was there a big improvement after burn in? Also, I bought them on amazon.

If I can afford it, should I go for the quad driver version?
@jennax47396 жыл бұрын
There's improvement in the quads, though the difference in sound quality doesn't seem large enough to merit the $90 increase in price (triples are currently $86, quads are $168). As strange as it is to say about anything whose entire purpose is to deliver sound, if you're going to buy the quads you should do it for the significantly better build quality rather than the audio. I know, I know, but the quads fix the cord issues, have a metal remote, and are just generally made from better components; they're engineered to last longer. Sound-wise, the differences were noticeable, but they didn't feel especially significant. Still, if you can afford the quads, you probably won't regret them. They're an improvement over the triples, just maybe not as much of an improvement as the price suggests.
@MrHubyBuby5 жыл бұрын
If you can afford it so yes, go for the quads, they are double the price ( more than double) but not the sound quality, if money is a thing, go for the triple.

The Triple Drivers are rather overrated IMO. When they came out and were priced at $99, they weren't much better than earbuds competing in the same price bracket. Now, they retail for about $60, which is a good deal. Keep in mind that numerous people have complained about the build quality. They don't seem to last nearly as much as what reviewers and 1more themselves claim. I still have my pair which was purchased on April 2018. My pair is in good shape, but that's probably because I haven't used them much as I had a pair of V-Moda ZNs (Which broke) and a pair of Klipsch X11.

yes, the lightning port is literally only for connectivity. Depends on your use. SE215s are going to be a good reference sound IEM and will be perfect if you are gigging musician who needs a flat monitor. 215s only fail in one area and thats the sound port (the little piece that goes into your ear that the ear tips connect to) is made from plastic and numerous people have complained on how they break off easily. A single new SE215 is $70. The 1More Triple drivers are pretty close to reference but add a slight sparkle to the top end. They aren't the over the ear style but will still sit in your ear comfortably. As they aren't over the ear they will be easier to shake off your head if you are using them as a gigging musician. If you are looking for a pair of in ear headphones for just great sound quality go for 1More, if you are a musician and are producing music and gigging and need a solid monitor go for Shure.
