Agree, I appreciate Samsung ecosystem more than Apple, much wider also due to an open system like Android which allows this. I agree, also iOS system is ok but too much restricted and the UI is not so easy to customize like Android.

what you said about Apple is not incorrect. The issue comes on why should I lock myself in another brand eg. Samsung. But you failed to mention a very important part in all of this. CHeck the privacy and your data on a Samsung device. Their TVs send an abnormal amount of data back, even screenshot of those models that have cameras. Fridges do the same, and I don't mean only about the simple things that is programmed to do eg. you need to buy apples. The collection of data is insane and nobody talks about it.
@VariantAEC5 ай бұрын
Apple is no different in that regard. The only exception is that Apple doesn't make a fridge or TV with cameras in them, yet.
@John7No5 ай бұрын
@@VariantAEC if you have the knowledge you can see how much data are being transmitted . When apple makes a fridge or TV we can judge then. Till that point you have nothing tangible to do so. IF we compare eg. Phones then from that only we can see that Apple is transimmiting far fewer data, how those are used and by who. It is all in the TOS . You can read it

Ok so samsung follows the same approach they used to follow. Fantastic features that attract everyone but are not something you would do everyday. The S pen summaries Samsung for me it’s awesome but you rarely remember you have it. And to be honest they still have a huge problem with the basics I can’t stand the noise s24 ultra make in night photos, and many of the features do not actually work as you would have hoped. I want to copy something on my iPhone and be able to paste it on my ipad or MacBook, I want to continue an interesting topic I stumbled on while using my iPhone on any other apple device I have at any given time. You actually can feel that your apple devices understand each other very well they act like if they were a real family.

my echo system begins with my guitar amp ... than the guitars and effects pedals that provide the best soundings with that amp, the home studio gears and tech elements that allow to integrate the best that amp in my music production workflow, than, only, the smartphone and the apps that work the best with that amp but as well the computer and OS, the tablet, the social networks about that amp with lovers who provide all kind of informations that will improve my usage of my amp ... you see ... that's the amp who decides, not Apple or Samsung or any other smartphone's brand ... 😉 an echo system shouldn't be based on a smartphone brand/tech but on your real needs ... in your job (music is my job now) or in your hobbies ...

Everyone's definition of "better" isn't the same. It depends on how you use it. Also, Apple covers all the basics exceedingly well. If you ask a random person what are the top features they look for in a phone, it will probably be a combination of camera, security, battery life, display, accessories, speed, stability, etc. Iphones do all those very well. Maybe not the absolute best in any single thing, but scores high in nearly everything. Kind of the sum is greater than the parts. Last is simplicity. Iphones are easy to learn and easy to use. Yeah, they added alot of features, but you don't 'have' to use the advanced stuff if you don't want to. If you used an iphone 3, you can pretty much jump right to an iphone 15 without breaking stride. People like familiarity, ya know? They figure this is what I'm used to, and it works... why would I bother switching? Anyway, just my $0.02. Everyone is different though.

Cuz majority of people don't really care what type of phone they have, as long as you don't stick out like a sore thumb like "oh you don't have an iPhone?" You'll be fine with that and the moment you get stuck at Apple's eco system, you might as well be hooked on for life cuz they make it so difficult for you to switch. I mean look at the messaging system, apple could have easily fixed android to apple msgs but make it so in a way that when receiving a text from android looks bad. Lol talk about petty.

Yea. I’ll stick with Apple thanks. Planned obsolescence isn’t a myth when your android phone and tablets bog down to the point of being unusable 6-8 months later. I use my old iPhone 12 Pro Max as a mobile gaming device for idle games like CoC and things to do when I have nothing better to do and with the exception of battery health not being what it was 4years ago, the phone operates flawlessly with no lag to speak of.

There are just too many elegant and intelligent features in iOS and iPadOS for me to ever consider going back to Android. Not to mention the general superiority of the third-party apps. Then there's the privacy and security aspect. The fact that you can get replacement parts from Apple itself. Who do you go to with a defective Android phone? The 40-year legacy of software engineering behind Apple. What do you get with Android ? An advertising business that hoovers up all your data. Yes, there is a premium to pay for an Apple device, but you really do get what you pay for. I had four mid- to high-end Android phones, from ASUS, Sony, Motorola and Oppo, and I would never go back.

Well, I don't exactly have an ecosystem as I don't own much tech due to my current financial situation, but if I do this is how it is going to be, Phone - Samsung S23 plus or S24 plus Watch - I don't like wearing a smartwatch instead I would go with a Samsung ring that will be available soon. Headphones - Bose QuietComfort or QC 45 TWS - Apple Airpods Pro 2 )type c version) Tablet - Apple iPad Air 13-inch Laptop - Apple Macbook Pro 16-inch (M3 Pro)

The point is that it exists, so if for some reason you do need a pocket PC, it's inside your telephone as soon as you connect it with a TV whether with a HDMI adapter or wirelessly. iPhone can't do that, and as he also mentioned, neither can the iPad.
@baenry.mon_7Ай бұрын
Honestly I would switch back to Samsung but I feel safer with Apple because of the simple reason that it is a closed system. Also I ditched Samsung to escape Google Products and Apps because of multiple wide-range data breaches or Google themselves selling data to third parties because that is still a huge part of their business and esentially make them money. Now if Samsung ditched Google and Android entirely, I would test it out but not as long as Samsung is deeply tied with Android.

Samsung is the closest compared to Apple in terms of ecosystem. Yet the only thing that Samsung has it beat is with their galaxy line of phones. Samsung has a bigger range of products from Office Tech to appliances, but that is because Apple has not found a reason to get into that Market. Apple’s product has gone away from iPhone and has become the Ecosystem. Samsung has Apple beat in Quantity, and Apple has Samsung beat in quality.
