One comment, though: I was able to fit not one, but two water bottles of 1.2 liters (40 oz) in the bottle holders (so it can handle a lot)! I love this backpack! Highly recommended as you pointed out.

Could the water bottle pockets fit a 32oz wide mouth bottle if you really wanted it to? That’s the only deal break for me as an edc

Hey! I was able to fit a 1.2-liter (40 oz) bottle with no issue. It’s not too bulky and more on the thin side, but it fits! I hope that helps you.

Not as good as the Patagonia MLC for my needs missing key features like dedicated tablet pouch at the back etc. so close to being good but cost saving cost them, come on North Face let's make it perfect!

The moment it was opened and the black interior was exposed... I'm out. Why so many companies don't go with a contrasting, if not high contrasting interior is beyond me. Nice bag, but they missed the boat on that alone.
