Hey, it was good talking to you at the Seattle Saturday night ride event. The Palouse to cascade trail from snoqulamie pass to north bend is a cool ride, I think the section I do is almost 30 miles of forest mountains and old train bridges.

Still waiting to see someone review the Molicel version of the wheel. I want to know if the better battery helps with braking and if the power delivery causes less sag. Those seem to be your main complaints but those might be improved with that setup.

yes, I'd like to try them too, what I gather from Wrong Way's video on the Molicels in the S22, were they didn't add much power, just a little less sag so maybe not worth the $500 extra.

If you are comfortable with DIY battery Samsung INR21700-50S 5000mAh - 35A can get you both range and high power :) If you want go extreme LiPo pouch cells can deliver much higher C rates at similar weight.

can't believe the cops let you fly, here in the uk i got pulled over and told i could be liable for a £300 fine and 6 points on my car licence ( a pretty big deal here) plus they could take my euc and destroy it...i pleaded ignorance and luckily they let it slide if i called someone to pick me up immediately... i still ride on a daily but always got an eye open for the police now...

Here’s my question* I’ve been really wanting to get a Master 50E, I’m just not sure if I should go with eWheels or Alien Rides. I was on a call w Alien Rides and I believe I heard him mention something about LiTech. I’m just not sure if the eWheels LiTech version is that much safer. Or, also, if AR is updating the motherboard like I’ve heard eWheels is (?) I guess I’m also trying to keep my budget under $3000 and Alien Rides seems to have a great warranty and customer service from what I’ve experienced. (Plus it’s $350 cheaper on AR). Also, is the batch coming out in August the 1st or 2nd batch wheels? Is it not worth getting a 1st batch wheel for safety/bug reasons?

I'm a big fan of AR's two year warranty and how much they give back to the community. All the Master's will have updated board, just got mine in, need to install. I'm not worried about bugs in the first batch, but if you are you can ask for a later batch. Would talk to Alien Rides about bug's etc. build up a relationship with your dealer. eWheels does have great service too, but don't seem as community oriented, lesser warranty, and don't kinda shady practices at time ie putting receive date earlier than competitors to get more deposits, then changing dates gradually. However, their reviews are great overall and they have a loyal customer base. Either way I think you'll be happy with the Master if you've done your research and feel its the right wheel for you. I'm not sold on the fancy battery packs yet, seems like the standard begode packs are getting a lot more range. I'm also an affiliate of AR so I maybe biased :) If you do go with them, using my affiliate link helps me out! or mentioning Zen at eWheels.

I would love to see a head to head with the EX vs Master, off the line. both 3500 w motors from gotway Im a EX owner,l and oter then the handle i love it. sold my s18 and never looked back

It is a hard wait to be honest.... but I want to see what begode will actually ship, there are a few changes spoken of that I want to wait it out for, one in particular is the pad set up perhaps they will release shelled or full padded version, this would mean that I would not need to buy 3d printed fairings. Also Im still waiting for the after market spring 1200lb and for eucyou to produce the low pedal hangers. Lots of waiting...

Dood, you're forgetting about the EX2.0S. That looks to be a Sherman with suspension and is very similar to the Master. I would rather have the EX2 over the Master.

@@ZenLee it comes to a point where most new 100V + wheels are going to be fine off road in almost any situation , what wheels aren’t good at yet is taking massive jumps and falls and obstacles, so the biggest jump in wheels so far has been this 130mm suspension, and don’t get me wrong I love the master, but it doesn’t have enough travel and bottoms out way too quickly , if you tighten it up and it’s too stiff, it needs better than S18/hero suspension and it would be the king, but so far the Eagle is going to be a majority wheel for off road riders unless they just ride trails and ride down stairs ;), but any stress you take off a wheel on jumps is great for the rim . How about they are both the best … can we just say that lol you should try the Eagle after the new firmware update… it might surprise you

@@thefoss721 Bottom line is the Master will smoke the S22 in any off-road race. I've tried the new firmware, its not much different maybe 5% more torque and even with the molicel batteries, there is very limited power. If you want and underpowered machine with the best suspension then the S22 is for you. If you want a FREAKING BEAST of a machine with good suspension, the Master. I need power, not everyone does. Master > S22 in almost every category except doing jumps.

@@ZenLee no there’s no denying the master is the master of torque , and if I were a street rider I’d probably want the master to get around moving obstacles more easily , but still pick the Eagle hands down for the mtns, my S-18 can make it up most inclines, it’s not like you need the best torque to make it up roads that were already accessible to less powered machines, so having that overhead to prevent cutout on a hill, and having 50mm more travel of suspension is a game changer for me, so yeah the master is the best for some, Eagle is the best for others who are in my shoes, but still there is currently not a wheel that checks all the boxes, very soon the master will be beaten by either more battery or better suspension, till then there is no best wheel for everyone . Which I think were both well aware of Rip it up on that baby! Just remember changs video of the master cutout, it’s basically like a RS with suspension which seems almost perfect besides the bottoming out on medium/large sized drops which happen quite a bit in the mtns

@@thefoss721 I'd agree. Of course more power is nice, but I honestly don't need more effective power than my Nik+. If I could marry the Nik+ to my S18 I'd be happy. For me, the S20 just makes more sense with the kinda shit I do. Zen I think when you say off-road he is picturing his specific off-roading. For me, I don't need the most torque possible. The suspension being beefier is entirely all I need and more torque than a Nik+ which the Kingsong has.

3200wh and lighter is not gonna work. More batteries = weight. The master is barebones as it is. A 136 volt monster/monster pro Is more likely to have that kind of battery.

@@kevinm.7396 the worst just like i said,,,purchased an rs19 and 2 chargers from them one of them exposed wires,,,,the euc Bluetooth issues out the box a week an a half later euc stopped charging BMS problem,,,, took over two months and about 20 emails to fix half of the problem got it back Bluetooth still doesn't work,,,,,,,,i purchased 2 other wheels from a different company and no issues with either one.....

@@fern11x35 I went to AR right after they opened and had them work on my Tesla. Some mistakes were made, not the end of the world, but I was unhappy at the time. I sent an email detailing the issues and left it at that, thankfully. There was a response from the owner shortly after the email was sent, but I was still mad so I did not read it. After I let it go the situation seemed pretty minor considering that they had just started up. I can't compare what happened to me with a faulty wheel and charger, but I still give them the benefit of the doubt. Once they get everything in order that 2 year warranty coupled with lower pricing is going to start taking a considerable amount of customers away from the other US distributors.
