I'm making this right now. I only had 1 can creamed corn...so I'm subbing with a can of butter beans instead of regular corn. I also don't have green pepper so I'm using jalapenos instead. Yes, when food gets costly, we must improvise. Get back to scratch cooking. I don't buy hardly anything from a box or bag and buy the cheap stuff. For a light meal I love cream corn on buttered toast! My husband says I'm gross. Lol... I hate electric stoves! I burn everything!
