Interesting fact: Caledfwlch is the original name for the legendary Arthurian sword. It was later romanised as Caliburn, and from there, Excalibur. Some versions of the myth attribute each name to reforgings/improvements of the legendary sword.

Ignore what he said about torso articulation because there is one. Right below the cockpit there is a hinge. It's the mechanism connected right to the hinge for sideways articulation. Just pull up the upper torso while holding down the lower torso. You can bend the whole torso to near 90° for that hinge alone. It's also the reason why that backpack column is a sliding mechanism to accomodate for that torso articulation.

by now I have enough red frame to make an astray sengoku with red dragon head and backpack, wielding a giant astray red frame kai's huge sword while also dual wielding 2 of the katana on the shoulder arms with 2 katanas sheathed on to each side. The extra clear arm base they give really is the key on making that beast displayable. Damn it blows all other gundams out of the shelf.

Classic Astray Frames are still without doubt, one of the best, and still is. I mean, it's old but still holds on. I woudn't be surprised if the next Build Series gives love to Astray Frames.

The torso actually has a god bit of articualtion, but you have to put some muscle into it as it's hard to figure it out, the torso basically stretches out and you can get crunch and side to side

I've been building multiple variants of the Red Frame since the beginning. Personal favorite of mine for years. All but the PG I've built. But, out of all the High Grades, and Master Grades . I personally prefer the Hi Resolution kit the best. Sure it's slightly bigger in size being a figure/kit. But I've long since overlooked that. There is just so much more detail and depth put into the Hi Resolution kits. It's pratically on par with that of past PG's.

The MG astray has a lot more articulation in the waist than what you're showing. You can widen the gap between the two grey parts to get more out of those joints

@@ChrisTian-sd5yq I looked it up, I was under the impression that Voiture Luminère used the Mirage Colloid material for a purpose other than turning invisible, but that turned out to be me misremembering that the Mirage Colloid was used to create after-images when the Destiny used its Voiture Luminère. However, the DOM Trooper does use Mirage Colloid in its Jet Stream Attack. Mirage Colloid is for more than just turning invisible.

Also they should have done that with the Woundwort.

@@ashtls6273 yes, the Calewolf or calewitch exist for rg astray red frame, the problem is that the only weapon pack that have it come with only one calewitch, so if you wan build the astray red frame red dragon 1/144, you need first buy the fly unit, them buy 3 times the some weapon pack to get the 3 calewitch, and at last, you need buy the anntena (is cheap), but for misfortune the head dont exist :(

6:21 My hypothesis is that designers have some sort of "basic pieces sets" which they include regardless the model. So, for example, even if they wanted to include pieces A and B only, as the set comes with pieces A to D, pieces C and D will come in the box, despite not being needed. Maybe the beams come in another set, which was considered unnecessary for certain models.

Roaddbuster not as much as unicorn. For red frame the only main kit that not p bandai is HG RF, HG RF flight unit, RG RF, MG RF kai. PG RF, Metal build and hrim. For unicorn. HG rx unicorn mode, hg rx0 destroy mode. Hg rx0 unicorn full armor, and sooo on.
