STUFFING AND DRESSING ARE DIFFERENT!!! stuffing- bread cut up and stuffed inside a turkey dressing- corn bread mixed with onion celery and season ESPECIALLY SAGE. If your black you probably eat dressing not stuffing.

If you're a person and you prefer not risking food poisoning, you should probably eat dressing
@IrresistibleWitch7 жыл бұрын
WTF? food poisoning? who is serving an uncooked turkey?
@IrresistibleWitch7 жыл бұрын
Some believe that if it's cooked inside a roast, it should be dubbed stuffing; if it's prepared outside the bird, then the proper name for it is dressing. But go south of the Mason-Dixon line, and cooks will call it dressing, regardless of its preparation, citing the term "stuffing" as an unpleasant-sounding word. Likewise, northern states and New Englanders generally refer to the dish as stuffing across the board.
@nightangel35787 жыл бұрын
Dressing can be made with/without cornbread. However traditionally we (Black people) eat cornbread dressing. I think it stems from the cost and slavery. Cornbread could be made from cornmeal and water (i.e. hot water cornbread).

Have been making Mac and cheese for two weeks for various friendsgivings. Mac and cheese that does not have a béchamel sauce ain’t really mac and cheese. I like most thanksgiving foods though (minus TURKEY) but my favorite is my moms dressing, it’s a sage sausage dressing that tastes even better as leftovers and I pair it with her homemade cranberry sauce.
