STUFFING AND DRESSING ARE DIFFERENT!!! stuffing- bread cut up and stuffed inside a turkey dressing- corn bread mixed with onion celery and season ESPECIALLY SAGE. If your black you probably eat dressing not stuffing.

Dressing can be made with/without cornbread. However traditionally we (Black people) eat cornbread dressing. I think it stems from the cost and slavery. Cornbread could be made from cornmeal and water (i.e. hot water cornbread).

Have been making Mac and cheese for two weeks for various friendsgivings. Mac and cheese that does not have a béchamel sauce ain’t really mac and cheese. I like most thanksgiving foods though (minus TURKEY) but my favorite is my moms dressing, it’s a sage sausage dressing that tastes even better as leftovers and I pair it with her homemade cranberry sauce. Ok, NIkki shaded cranberry sauce, but lowkey I grew up on that stuff. My grandma couldn't really cook like that, so when I was at her house and she would make me some Marie Callenders microwave chicken pot pie for dinner, best believe she and I were eating cranberry sauce--BY ITSELF-- for dessert.
