It’s wild! I got back into Pokémon at the tail end of the gen 6 era back in 2015 and I can’t believe we’re now about to be 3 generations forward come this November!

I actually have some great grinding spots for Gen 5 if anyone that is interested. For BW the best grind spot is near the entrance to white forest/black city on route 14 where you go back and forth near the grass and wait to until you see the shaking grass to find audino for exp. In B2W2 go to Nimbasa City and save outside then go check in the Big Stadium and Small Court (the two big blue stadium buildings). What you want to do is check if there any breeders in either of the buildings if there are none reset. Once you eventually find a breeder battle them to get a rare candy and then you can go on the teleporter and then go back on it to refight them as many times as you want to get more rare candies. in gen 5 the best way to grind is to stick your pokemon in the daycare and place a book on the forward button at a certain area in the subway before you go to sleep and you wake up with 2 level 100s

Yeah that’s not super optimal for higher level pokemon anyway plus you’ll be killing your DS battery leaving it plugged in while running overnight lol

Tip to add to this: Rotation battles are available at the start, and they allow you to use 1 mon to solo the opposing Pokemon while allowing 2 of your Pokemon to soak up all the EXP they could ever ask for. Other than that little thing tho this is definitely the best guide to this method, and i don't blame you for missing that at all since most people have no interest in rotation battles in the first place

From my personal experience, using the prize money o-power lv. 2 or 3 for the elite four battles are usually way more profitable per battle. Plus the multipliers stack if you have the prize money o-power along with at least one pokemon with a luck incense/amulet coin to add to the prize money multiplier. I got at least 52,000 per elite four member with that method. Do take it with a grain of salt that the o-power multiplier only lasts for 3 minutes so you have to be very quick with the battles, so it'd be recommended to have a stupid overpowered team to deal with them.

If you have access to the White Treehollow in BW2 (either Unova Link key system in B2 or natively in W2) the white Treehollow has Breeders with Chansey line Pokemon. The other option is the Breeder Rare Candy method Absol Blogs did a Level 100 Gauntlet for.

Watching this vid in 2024 is crazy but if you're high enough title in the battle chateu and fight only the girls with the dresses and just switch out your pokemon you'll get like 6k xp (with lucky egg) each pokemon you kill. I'd recommend also doing the black writ aswell as gold + silver invitation writ, sm money aswell as xp

2 things i need help with. 1. I beat all the trainers and am stuck on ellite 4. I go to the restuarant and it says i need to beat a champ. Does it mean the elite 4 or something else? 2. Is there any other way to farm xp besides this cuz i can't currently do it cuz of the first thing

Beating the champ means beat the elite 4 and then the champion that’s after them. There are other restaurants you might be able to fight before the elite 4 as some restaurants have much lower level pokemon but I haven’t tried yet. Other than that you might just need to find trainers you haven’t fought yet in the later areas
