Thank you, Jad, you're incredible! What do we do once we find a winning ad within the DCT ad set? Do we graduate it into its own 'winners' ad set, or run it in ASC, leave it running within the DCT with the other 2?
@jadkantari9 күн бұрын
@@patrickjanedri1671 nothing you just increase spend 20% as long as you’re profitable. The only thing that needs to graduate is your kids. No need to move adsets around. We’ve been testing having an ASC campaign running alongside with low spend acting as retargeting. Results to be determined

I have an objection. I'm facing an issue with CBO where Facebook is allocating the majority of the budget to an ad with a low ROAS, close to break-even. For instance, one ad spent $400 with a 1.7 ROAS, while another ad within the same CBO spent $100 but achieved a 3.5 ROAS. In your experience, have you seen Facebook heavily favor ads that aren't profitable simply because they have high engagement or a lower CPC? In this case, would it be advisable to manually reallocate the budget to the more profitable ads? or maybe just focus on build a different funnel, pre lander etc... to get this high spending ad to really profitable?
@jadkantari18 күн бұрын
@@kevintrol591 this is going to require a video on its own given the answer is complex not quite straight forward. But long story short I have tested this extensively and found that when you turn that high spender ad off with the high cpa to force spend towards a lower spend cpa thinking it’s what’s causing your bad performance you typically will find a bit of profitability over the course of a couple days and then that new ad will start doing the same thing. Sucking all the spend and having a high cpa. When cpa is higher than desired target cpa over the course of 3 days consecutively you should scale budget down. Simple as that. No point feeding the campaign anymore budget given the current creatives can’t sustain such budget and the only way to go from there is scale budget down and find a winning creative that is able to sustain bigger budget while remaining profitable (20% net profit+) Now a higher cpa ad that’s taking all the spend isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It is just indicative of that ad being favored by fb in terms of audience targeting and user experience and its higher cpa is typically due to its higher placement within the funnel. In other words the ad is playing a TOF role in the funnel to your unaware/cold audience and the other ads with lower cpas are coming in after to warm up the audience even more and secure that conversion. It’s a lot more complex than this because it isn’t always so black and white unfortunately and there are a bunch of data points that need to be considered when making these observations such as frequency CPM etc… But this is the logic behind it in a nutshell. I’ll dedicate a video to it in the near future. Where I go deeper into this.
@PritishShetty-z2w10 күн бұрын
I guess the low roas one is acting as a top of the funnel, so if you switch it off then the whole performance will get affected

@@jadkantari appreciate your detailed answer gotcha , is clear . Suppose those high spending ads have for us a “ slightly “ profitable roas , like 10%. to improve roas overall , the best thing to do is also launching new better version of the same ad ? I mean Iterations with different hooks or b rool etc. To improve efficiency?
