Very cool! My biggest reservation about downloading executables is possible malware. It's easy enough for a hacker to test their products against anti-malware software to check if it triggers - and if it doesn't then you'll never know it has something bad in it. My advice to people is to only download executables on a computer that is strictly for AI on which they never do any financial transactions or enter a password for something that is not AI related. Better safe than sorry. Cheers!

Awesome tutorial thank you. I had some pains getting it to work at first but after changing some security settings on my PC it now works as in the video. I can't believe how fast it is to process deepfakes with a RTX 4090. In the time of typing this comment it was able to do a 1 min faceswap on a 1920x1080p MP4 video, wow! The only downside of this method is that the quality of the results leaves a lot to be desired most of the time - lots of weird artifacts and it can't seem to handle teeth well for example.

Can’t wait to try this. Probably easier to cut just short scenes out of a movie though ? To make things a bit quicker ? I assume I can use any extension eg. Mkv, mp4
@TheoreticallyMedia Жыл бұрын
Oh, it’s 100% clip based. I think you’d run into all kinds of errors if you dropped a whole scene in. For best results, it is one shot at a time, and then putting the re-face version back into the final movie. I think you can use any format? Mostly tried with mp4s, but that’s because Premiere doesn’t play nice with MKV files.

It's literally one person...might be getting hammered with questions right now-- but, there are some REALLY smart dev folks in there who are slopping code all over the place. Does anyone know why the low resolution Insightfaceswap model hasn't been improved upon yet? All of these solutions use the same base model it seems and to my knowledge Insightfaceswap is actually only 128px which explains the low resolution output in all of these results. Perhaps it's just very hard to get a 256px or 512px model working but it would dramatically improve the outputs.

Yeah, sorry- that can vary from machine to machine. I’ll say, on the Mac side, it ends up being significantly easier to install just because you don’t have to issue a bunch of terminal commands and other software packages beforehand. I need a Faceswap that doesn't just copy a face from a picture and paste to a video but also allows you to remodel the shape of a head so that whatever perspective you watch the head as it turns, it maintains that remodelled shape. Something that can make a head either narrower or bloated or square shape in relation to the picture. Most AI faceswap softwares and sites fail at this capability. It should also be NSFW and must have the capability to change hair colour. I find most of these things on some android apps but they are mostly for pics and aren't able to handle high resolution & lengthy vids like powerful PCs. I don't even mind paying as long as it can do what I have mentioned here. I'm pretty sure that Premiere Pro & DaVinci Resolve are working on these features to integrate into their softwares may available in the next 5 years. You can change the shape of faces and even body shapes in a picture which is super easy. But with videos it is super complicated because I'd requite blender to make a 3D scan of the entire face and then use a lot of coding to morph the entire head to every single head orientation in the video. Too stressful.

So, although it seems pretty clean my previous older install of Python screwed it up. I assume if I did not have Python already installed it would have installed it for me.

Ahhh--- well, I'd say for sure to report it as a bug with the installer-- That way the error logs go back to the devs. You might want to hop on the discord too, there are a lot of big brains who might have a solution or workaround for you.

What's the complete size of this package??

I installed Facefusion for images. It took a lot of work of many libraries and installs and configurations to get it running. When I did, it was okay. Nothing spectacular - not like what I produce with Photoshop.

The work of a human does tend to trump the work of AI. I’ll say, facefusion does do really well on the video side though. Again, you could do that manually (24 fps), but man would it be time consuming.

@TheoreticallyMedia Probably right. Different tools for different purposes. Don't get me wrong, these Ai tools are in their infancy, like internet was 1996, it will be only a few short years and that "Nothing spectacular" will be "amazing."

When I'm trying to launch normal mode, it takes forever. It has been loading for many hours and I have tried to turn off my PC and try again but it takes forever. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do?

That seems super odd. Check w/ their Discord-- there are usually a lot of people much better at troubleshooting than I am!

Best advice I can give you: head over to the discord. Folks will be able to help out there. Also, don’t type in all caps there.

is it only for me or the creation of the video takes a looot of time? I mean i used it on a 25 second video and it took about an hour? I dont wanna think about longer videos! My PC specs are just fine, maybe its some of the settings, i dont know. Nonetheless, great tutorial!

There is a little checkbox on the left side of the screen for hardware acceleration- make sure that is clicked on, or yeah, it’ll take forever. Might want to play around with some slider settings as well! I had an issue when I cranked everything to max!

Sorry man but Reface is still the best face swapper out there. I tested FF and side by side it was more of a merge Reface nailed it!
@TheoreticallyMedia10 ай бұрын
Oh I like reface as well! I used it for an animation workflow tutorial awhile back as well! It’s been a minute since I checked in on it, so I’ll make a note to swing back and try it out again! FYI: FF did come out with a new model as well, so it likely has improved, but again: I haven’t had time to test it yet! So much stuff and only 24 hours in a day!

I did everything you said. Facefusion says its connecting to a server, and never gets there. this cost me an entire day. NOTHING you said would happen occurred. I'm SO annoyed.

Server will start running, after a little while an "open session" option should pop up right above it.

can you kindly recommend a speech to speech voice cloning AI? that works on MAC?

I just discovered this. I ran a quick swap. The faces don't blend. There are visible seams or the source face keeps distorting on the target face. What settings should use? Also if I enable lipsync, the software doesn't work.

is there a progress barr on the rendering? or do you wait for the output to display after pressing start?
