I used WD40 for years but it's a dust, grime, and break dust magnet...Use break cleaner spray or the cheap Green Power Wash in the gallon jugs on my black motorcycle rims, after cleaning the rim wipe it down until it is totally dry, and then apply a ceramic or graphene infused spray wax to the rim. Let it cure on the rim, buff it off with a micro fiber towel, and your rims WILL repell all road grime, brake dust, and contaminents from the road. These waxes bond to the rim and with just a garden hose or pressure washer the next time you want the rims looking like new without the bust'n your butt to get them clean...

I do this one with GT85, only thing I would add is make sure your rags are clean and not on the deck the smallest piece of grit will damage the finish on the wheel 👍

Doesn’t it take the paint off the wheel’s?
@DeanAllen9 ай бұрын
No, when added to a cloth, then as shown, you wipe the painted wheel, it lifts the chain dirt and oil right off.

The reason your wheel is so dirty is because your using WD40 😅 yes it gets it clean but it also grabs hold of stuff for weeks after that’s why their so dirty.

Once used to clean, it is wiped off. So I guess what you are saying is, as long as you don't use WD 40, your wheels will stay clean anyway ?
