Run Lola Run and Never Look Away are two of my all-time favourites!

A wonderfully international flavour to your December. I have fond memories of many of these including the Roy Anderson debut. In a big fan of Cross of Iron as a prototypical anti-war movie. Hoping to get to the cinema a lot more this year, so I don’t miss the likes of the Kaurismaki and Anatomy of a Fall. Zone of Interest looks fascinating. Thanks for sharing your cinematic year. I’ve really enjoyed the wonderful films you’ve experienced this year

It was definitely a great month of films to polish off this year for me. I'm now very keen to see more from Roy Andersson, and the 4K of Cross of Iron is another Studiocanal release I'll be hoping to pick up soon. One of the most unexpected and powerful anti-war films I've ever seen I think! It was getting a Curzon membership earlier this year which I found really encouraged me in getting to the cinema a bit more, and it was surprsingly reasonable. Hoping to catch Anatomy of a Fall before it leaves cinemas, and definitely will be going to see Zone of Interest too! Ah my pleasure, thanks so much for watching! I've really appreciated a whole load of excellent recommendations I've taken from watching your videos over this last year. The consistent quality and value to be found in each of your videos continues to be a real aspiration for me, so thanks so much for all the effort you put in because it's been such a pleasure to watch.

I have seen that ‘Cross Of Iron’ been making the rounds recently mate; I need to check out more of Sam Peckinpah’s filmography; also ‘Run Lola Run’ is one I should of seen at Tyneside when they showed it last year. I totally agree Goose; I thought ‘Fallen Leaves’ was very good; it funny that on HMV’s website that the Blu-Ray not out till Jan 2025 😂 Great video mate 😀👍

I think it was because there was a new 4K release of Cross of iron at the end of last year, so it was back in people's minds, as I wasn't aware of it at all. It's on amazon prime at the moment if you have that and want to check it out. Ah I bet Run Lola Run would be great on the big screen, definitely one to check out if you can, and it's very short at only just about 80 minutes. Haha, I hope we don't have to wait that long for Fallen Leaves! I'm keen to grab that kaurismaki boxset now to see more from him. Hope you had a lovely birthday and time in the US. It's impossible to resist getting a few Criterion's while you are there!
