Hello Warren I really love your monthly videos. So well presented. Harmonium is incredible isn't it. Such a twisted incredible tale that I was thinking about for days after. La Notte also is a MOC favourite of mine.

Thanks so much Roy! I couldn't agree more, Harmoniun was an absolute gem from the MoC, and exactly the same for me, where it just stayed in my mind. Looking forward to re-watching La Notte already. Definitely one that needs repeat viewing!

Awesome video Warren 😀🍿🎸🎶 I just taken a leaf out of your book and ordered ‘Harmonium’ after watching this video and the film ‘La Notte’ knowing it’s from the same director of ‘Blow Up’; I might have to pick that one up aswell. I absolutely loved ‘The Zone Of Interest’; but it does have some rough scenes in there; I was very much amplified the way the film ended! Hoping it will get a Blu-Ray release 😊 Hope you having a grand weekend Warren; keep up the excellent work 😀🙏🍿🎸🎶

Thanks Sam! I think La Notte actually might have been my first Antonioni film, but I've heard nothing but great things about his films. Blow Up has been on my list for a while, so I should grab the Criterion! Glad you liked Zone of Interest. It was definitely an intriguing watch for me, but a hard one to pin down I thought. With the oscar win, I reckon it should get the bluray treatment for sure. Hope you're having a lovely weekend mate!

Really well presented as ever. I do want to see The Promised Land, it had a limited release here also and I missed it. It looks great…..I still question a couple of the choices Glazer makes on The Zone of Interest but overall I did think it was very good. I hope your March watching is going well. All the best

Thanks so much Neil. The Promised Land is definitely a big recommendation from me. It's such a shame that it such a short cinematic release, as I thought with Mads as the main star that would have brought it a bit more time. There is a physical release due to come though which hopefully will be readily available. I definitely thought Zone was very well made and constructed. The night shots with the heat camera were particularly powerful I thought, but I agree, it's hard not to question the film in some ways. I did read that Spielberg said it was the best film about the holocaust since his own one, which is certainly huge praise. Hope your March is going very well too!
