@mongoslade277 Tyson never beat anyone who was a big puncher with better chin. Watch Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Tua. Ibeabuchi would've beaten Tyson, too. Tyson often gassed badly after the 7th-8th round. Ibeabuchi threw almost 1,000 punches vs. Tua, and wasnt gassed. He and Tua threw over 1,700 punches that night. Both had granite chins

Larry Holmes said Cooney hurt him in their fight. Cooney could punch, but all he had was a left hook. Just move to the left, but Norton always came straight ahead. Not smart against a puncher. He was old and semi-retired when they fought

It wasnt in the 1st round but when Corrie Sanders KO’d Wladimir Klitschko in the 2nd round of their title fight, i almost stopped watching boxing 😅 Wlad was my favorite fighter at the time bcuz he was absolutely starching everyone he faced up to that point. I was hyping him up at the watch party and he gets KO’d by a dude who looks like an old soccer hooligan 😭 but then he got with Emmanuel Stewart and held a couple belts for like a decade 👌🏻

"Down goes Frazier" doesnt have the same ring to it when Tyson KO'd Marvis. Golota...what happened? Maybe his style was just bad for Bowe cause Andrew looked so good in both their fights before he started low blowing. Never saw him look as good in many other BIG fights. I will always remember how pissed off people were about Tyson - Spinks. How they spent all that money on tickets or PPV and got a 90 second fight in what was supposed to be the fight of the century. Spinks looked like he didnt want to be there or he knew he had no shot.

Spinks was scared from the locker room; he wanted to quit before coming out to the ring but his trainer had to talk him out of it and essentially convinced him to just get to the ring and expect a miracle. Poor Spinks, he had an 'ilustrious' career as a boxer but he's permanently remember by his horror face in the Tyson fight

Many are KO'd by the wild, arcing hail-Mary Monkey Punch. Just fling it when in doubt. 14:20 great example 22:23 another great example of the Monkey Punch. Fling it around as if you're throwing a baseball from the pitcher's mound and boom, you can get lucky!

I kind of agree, but I wouldn't say he pussed out. Spinks knew he was really just a blown up aging light heavyweight and didn't have the power to deal with a legitimate big punching fast heavyweight like Tyson. However, even though he was a great light heavyweight champ for years, the real money is in the heavyweight division and especially for a fight with Tyson. Therefore, I think he was smart in taking the fight, but took the first opportunity to get out of there with his health and many millions of dollars.
