I usually set my CA to 5 star silver ability and then set my staff to DOF to find players for *youth teams* and then i’ll sign off on them. That way i can focus on my first team and filter the scouting results to players that will suit that but there is also youth players that i can sign for cheap and sell for profit. sometimes they’ll try sign people outside the windows which if ur dimming you’ll miss out but the majority will be in the windows so it’s a good method

Would also recommend changing ur tactic to any so they’ll find wonder kids from all positions then when you actually want to find players you can filter by position

I didn’t show the database as it really depends on your PC! I run an advanced database with players playing in the top league ticked in every continent. But if your PC can’t do it then take off probably Asia & Oceania

Do you worry about work permits? Or just sign regardless, use ESC slots? Loan them out to places where WP isn't an issue? It seems a missing piece of the puzzle this part?

I tend to use the ESC Slots every season! I wouldn’t sign 5-6-7 players that all need ESC slots as bad for dynamics too!

Great vid. When scouting for wonderkids, do the all the leagues be active (as in you pick them in advance setup when setting up a new save)? Or is it enough to pick ”large database” to get wonderkids from all parts of the world?

Just started a new save with only English league playable, but all players from every continent available. When setting up a new recruitment focus I only have Europe available, what am I doing wrong?

On scouting at the top change the drop down box from Europe to world 😁

Hi mate! I would recommend using something your PC Can handle! It is different for every user hence why I didn’t show in the video 😊 If your PC can handle it then at the start when you load the nations change the amount of players to custom in the top right and have players from top leagues ticked in every continent 😍 Hope this helps!

Lacking so much info on this, for a start you dont mention what sort of database and loaded leagues you are using on this guide, would be helpful and these details greatly affect results. Also you should really let people know that you can change who is giving you info on your squads abilities and potential, this can be found in the "responsibilities" tab i make sure i have the people with the best judging current/potential abilities for all my reports, the ai normally sets it up abit meh like you can have an ass manger doing it and he has rubbish stats hence not a true report on your players skills, so i normally have my best scout and my hoyd giving me all the reports. Also you should have a section on telling people which scouts to assign as again if you let the AI decide you just asking for bad results, nation knowledge and adaptablity are key alongside the juding potential, i tend to always stick with a min of 15 for judging current ability and adaptabilty and try to get scouts with min 17 juding potential . Also you should state that all the reports you are getting is based on your current squads ability, so that people do not get frustrated when all the first batch of people the "sign" that were 5 star suddenly drop when you sign better players. Using the scouting properly is mostly about picking up players with the focus on selling them for huge profits later on, and keeping a small % for your actual squad on a perm basis. one thing id suggest is always spam your board for feeder clubs, getting a whole list of clubs from good nations that have great regen youth, will have the potential to boost your youth intakes and also gives you a feeder club that you can farm out all these results from your scouting, so again always pester your board to improve your youth recruitment and youth coaching aswell as feeder clubs. remember the only way to have the best results is to never let the AI sign anything for you, always take charge of signing players and staff for all squads, all you need from youth coaches is great personality and great working with youngers, so perfect combo would be model citizen and min 15 woring with youngsters
