Using this tactic with Arsenal, downloaded tactic a few days ago from your site. All i can say that it is a beast of a tactic, 14 games on : 13 wins & 1 draw away to United. Europa League playing with second team, all wins. Good job with this one mate, really good job!

20 games 17 wins with Chaoyue in the Chinese 2nd tier, the team started the season 0-1-7 before I took charge and used this tactic.

Tried this with my Vanarama League North save as Bradford Park Avenue. Played a total of 5 games. Won 4 & for the 5th game I picked an academy team and drew 4-4 With Halifax. Didn't even have players that suited the wing back roles.

This tactic is considered a cheat on forums, it breaks the enemy defense with 3 strikers.

it has always been a problem with the 3 strikers… or when you use 4-6-0 or 3-6-1

Once you go on a losing streak, it's hard to get out of it with that tactic..tend to concede a lot from crosses

good old tactic you got there… its the 3-4-3 direct style of play… But take 2 attackers and place them on the defensiv mid and you will see how broken the game really is.... you can beat real Madrid with malloca… 3-4-2-1 or 3-6-1 direct and standard and fluid... its best when you are out of your league

Want an opinion from experienced FM players. Using an old laptop and only loaded top 5 European leagues, running really slow. What specs should i be considering for a new laptop, considering i dont nesicerally want EVERY league, just top few divisions from around Europe. Havent got any 2nd division teams, Eredivise, Portugusa Liga etc... Using old 1.8GBz processor with only 4GB RAM. (Poor i know)

Declan Stothard 3ghz cpu 8gb ram will cost you not much nowadays and that will smash it. 250 quid will get u 4gb ram and a 2.9ghz i5 in a laptop. Check out ebuyer dot com. My pal plays on a old 4gb laptop with a old gen i7 and runs sweet.

Used with Peterborough United after I was having a terrible time, ended up getting automatic promotion to the championship coming 2nd in league one. As of now, I'm 16th in 5 games, one win, two draws, two losses. Nearly another draw, if only for a missed penalty. 👍 👊

if you have a really bad team it's normal. But if you play with a team like West Ham, you can surely qualify for the champions league

I will try it out later but it looks like a great tactic!!!I have also notice another great tactic with 4-1-3-1-1 I was able to win the Europa league and the FA Cup the first year(I joined them in November) and then going undeatable in the second season(only four draws against Tottenham, Manchester United, City and Brentford)(with a new team as I sold the whole squad apart from Sandro,Gueye,Barkley,Keane and Pickford(I traded Sigurson for Havertz,singed Laporte and Hazard(not Eden), Saar and Troupe with my bench being regens!!!(one regen was in thr starting eleven as well 16 years old Championship level player))!!!I have tried it with less powerful teams likes Panathinaikos and a ligue 1 team i dont remember it did great!! My formation was ....................Sandro ....................Barkley Hazard-Havertz-Revees(the regen) .....................Gueye Saar-Keane-Laporte-Troupe ...................Pickford

I downloaded this tactic a while ago thru a different site and been using for my first save with man Utd just finished my 3rd season I've won everything each season bar the league cup in season one and season 3... Bought few players just dybala, Alex Sandro, minko savic and mbappe for the start of my third season, sold smalling, shaw, fellaini, miki shaw, Jones,lingard, and just brought thru the youth and to say it was a good tactic to get to used to the new game but does get a tad boring as u win everything I beat Spurs 8-0 and Watford 11-0 so I think this will be my last season.....

feels like they've patched this in the update i had today. Won the Europa with Villarreal the night before it updated and now on a winless streak because my centre backs (joint valued at £100m) are making 2-3 mistakes a game, all leading to goals.

I'm not sure. It definitely doesn't feel as effective anymore. It feels like the bigger reputation teams seem to figure it out and it doesn't work against them like it used to.

This tactic has its flaw, been using for 10 years in my save. In Dutch league with NEC FC, extremely successful. I moved to Holland Nation coach, got the team 3rd in World Cup 2022 and semi final for Euro. But the tactic never brings you to final because it always LOSE to 442. It also has trouble dealing with teams that uses the same set up in the back with 5 defenders. You do have to move out of this formation sometimes.

Tried this with Livingston FC (but created my own team from them kept same players etc) in the Scottish championship against a league 1 side (Stirling Albion) HT 2-0 up FT 2-1 my WBR got yellow carded and 1 of my MC ended up injured 😂😂😂

Tried a long save with this tactic using with liverpool and won champions league 6 times in a from 2017/18 to 2023/24 and lost the final in 2025 against real madrid. won premier league 5 times and in 2023/34 i won 36 games and drew 2 in the league so its pretty much a cheat tactic and I dont reccomend using it becausr it makes the game so boring.

This tactic was developed by Reckonist on twitch/youtube and it's a FM18 version of his FM17 tactic which also broke the game engine, however in FM17 you used 3 shadow strikers instead of 3 strikers. You can look in the workshop for 3-7-0 tactics and you'll laugh through any game.
