I just said the same thing to my brother, it had to be a last-minute swap. Rocket and Groot are not one character in Rivals, Cloak and Dagger are. And the card is closer to Cloak + Dagger than it is Rocket + Groot.

The thing that really defined this year for me was the Custom Card system that really breathed new life into trying to split cards and find cool splits for my cards. While Borders have been priced frustratingly, they’ve also been giving a lot out for various things that I’ve been able and excited to bling my cards out without having to break the bank and get lucky with a specific variant. It’s not a gameplay feature but it was something I got a lot of enjoyment from in 2024!

Something I've never seen talked about is how bad the support staff for Snap are. Like the people you message when you can't login or have pay issues are less then useless, they are evil. They will loop you in circles to force you to hang up. They actually get paid to get rid of people and never help them.

This game sadly has blown me by. Second dinner made it such a grind to stay relevant that for episode after episode I think how I’m months is not years to play these cards and make new decks. I would log in every day and do my daily’s and still the game just left me in the dust.

Feels like there's 5 people at development and 10 times that at marketing. It's been 2 years and 2024 prices went crazy high this year, we got 2 events as Deadpool dinner and high voltage, everything else was borders, more useless titles and 1 new card a week. And the more we got the more new games gonna come up for which people will Switch to. If they aren't willing to do more for the game rather than the economy players count gonna keep going down.

I got Namora recently and now she's one of my favorite cards, especially with Scarlet Spider, Skaar, etc.! Namora is super fun and useful and she works great woth Lasher with what I've seen so although I never got Agony I hope I can get Lasher if I play enough!

Second dinners best plan to improve exposure is to somehow utilize the rivals boom. However much they have to spend... There needs to be some snap integration promo inside of the rivals client itself. Second? They need to make the game less daunting for new players... No one is recommending this game to friends at this point and that's a shame.

Why in gods name would I recommend a game with such bad monetization to friends. Hell, that is the first thing I warn them about, and within the first week or so of playing they quickly find that out. I have only ever brought the game up when they have asked questions about it.

RG seems like a great card to put in a Guardian's deck as well, since putting R&G in one lane, then makes you being able to get the lane choice down to a 50/50. Add in like Daredevil, and you get to predict their plays a lot easier.

Rocket & groot seem like the perfect card in that it spans so many archetypes. Lockdown, surfer, toxic,clog, move, guardians, I feel like destroy/discard don’t really want this but they have such tight lists anyways

Not feeling Rocket/Groot. I like the move idea and the card has its syncs (USAgent for example) but it feels low-impact. I'm not going to worry about countering it and I'm not going to spend keys or tokens to have it. Maybe if it was a 2 cost... Lasher on the other hand feels like a must-have.

A 3/5 is not power creep. Polaris/Deathlok/etc. have been that for the entirety of the game's lifespan. That's just bog standard.

Not bog standard. They’re above par. Both are 3/5 because their abilities are a potential downside for the user in non-synergy plays. Dragging 1/2 or 2/3 to your location means you still have to compete on power, so 3/5 over 3/4. Deathlok’s downside is immediately obvious by destroying all cards at the location of play.

deathlok has a negative effect also polaris’s effect pulls your opponent’s power towards yours so that’s also a negative effect

We want more game modes but the issue is most people grind all season to get to rank 100 especially new players have to climb 100 long ranks. Then you have conquest to unlock rewards then you have special events for cards. There are so many things to do that doing those and getting to 100 makes this game WAY TO FRUSTRATING. It pulls you 8 ways and all you can play is the one meta deck to climb cause everything else needs to get completed in 4 weeks to get everything before starting over and doing it again
