The wheel is broken again :D First game - wheel shows us Plat 2 and points are awarded like it's diamond 3 (and that's what is also talked about)

@@elliotlea5457 Thanks! Thought the number was wrong for a while. This show is great but I'm starting to suspect we're also secretly playing "spot the err" with every episode. Why not have a bunch of patreons preview it and bugfix?

@@ludisnemo887 Or just review your own work? I know they are posting daily and some videos are even reaching hour long lengths but come on. Also how are the tiebreakers decided? It was stated that the higher a single guess is, the lower they are on the tiebraker ladder but then again Rotterdam got a perfect guess and Grant didn't so it is a bit weird.

@@vigilanterorschach2600 See 0:18 -- "ties are broken by *worst* guess" In other words take each player's highest single round and compare them, lowest winning. uthermal's worst guess was a 7, Rotterdam and Lowko had 6 as their worst, and Grant beats them all with a 5 Doing it this way rewards consistency -- being off by similar amounts each time is valued higher than having a single really bad guess offset by better guesses in the other rounds.

@@GaussLM Like I said, I understand how it works I just don't agree with it. This series is already too quickly over, you have like 12 guests come over and playoffs is also a weird format since the best guess just goes to the finals. In my opinion they should just reinvite the people who had tiebrakers and battle it out once again for that spot. Much better for everyone and you definitely don't get people dissing your rules then.

I think the wheel was incorrect on that one. They got scored like it was diamond 3 (and the graphic after the wheel showed points like it was D3), also they mention at 17:53 that it was diamond 3.

Did you not pay attention or something they literally talk about diamond after wheel rolls so all you need is 2 sec of thinking to figure out the broken part is wheel not every1 else's brain.

I had to watch this twice because my OCD was losing its shit seeing the 6 points when the animation like you said should have been 4. But they do mention right then and there that D3 is pretty close.

Game 1 was so weird to evaluate. Like some kinda semi-micro, a wall, some signs of not utterly awful. But also no spores at all vs mutas, the mutas came in, saw undefended mineral line, sniped queen and ran away without touching the drones. :o also the player we were looking at kept his money reasonably low most of the time though his opponent didn't. It's somewhere from high diamond to low gold. :facepalm:

There is an issue with new SC2 Ladder seasons -- the current Ladder Season 2024 S1 I am Bronze 2 but have the same MMR as last season (2023 S4) I was on Gold 2.

When the guess is wrong they get an extra point, that way perfect guesses are rewarded more. So 3 off is 4 points

Better guess. Tie breakers are broken by who has the worst guess (also says it in the video at the end but its small font), so GGGrant had a better guess, Lowko had a worse guess and so on.
